They are more than decent, they are excellent. I have them tuned so perfectly at the moment. I have been really enjoying racing with them. Took me about 3 days to get fully used to them to where I was confident in doing a championship with them. It's really important to adjust the loadcell a bit to maximize its abilities and I wish cammus would package in more spacers. Spacers cost pennies at hardware stores so it's not a big deal but I did contact them and request they include more spacers for each pedal.
Thanks for your videos. You particularly convinced me to get the Cammus bundle today. Looking forward to it! I subbed and pressed the like, like a good boy!
I never heard of Cammus, would you eecommend their bundle and how is their DD wheelbase if you tried it, the 15nm? The pedals look like the best at that price that I've seen. Problem might be if it ship from USA to Sweden, crazy VAT etc.
You might be better off buying from a European distributor. There might be one in your area too, I'm not sure. The bundle is great and I used their 15nm for a very long time. It feels amazing for the price.
Could you do a short 5 minute review of the software setup. Does the software system have the feature to set up a throttle application shape outside of the actual game?
it is definitely a wide boy but a drill does wonders if that's the case! or if you mean it wont fit between, you can just mount the pedals directly to whatever pedal plate you are using. you don't need to use the pedal plate included, its only for people that don't have a pedal plate.
@@DouglasThompsonstill I am also very interested in the real measured dimensions of the base plate, since I already stumbled on two big manufacturers their technical plans and these were totally not correct, you would do me a big favor with this info.
I've seen another vid of a guy also putting some washers under the load cell. Definitely something i'm gonna do once i get em, and all the other stuff you've done. I wonder if there's be some other base plate that might offer a bit extra heigjht for the feet. The pedals do look tall.
Oh yeah I forgot to ask you, so I just ordered my first lil set up with a Moza r5 to test the waters if I enjoy racing like I know I will , I’ll invest in a more NM base , but are these Camus pedals compatible with the r5 from Moza you think?
The lc100 have hall effect sensors on the throttle and clutch instead of load cells, a 100kg direct mounted load cell on the brake, added hydraulic cylinder for better brake feel. Easier pedal adjustment, minor quality of life improvements like the mounting plate is slotted instead of simply drilled. Also the logo is now smooth paint instead of engraved so it doesn't catch your feet. The pedal faces are now smooth instead of ridged. The control box is now external and can be placed wherever instead of mounted within the brake housing like the previous set.
@@DouglasThompson YOOO I saw that dude!! I was like TaaaYUMMM ma boy done met Grandmother Spyder while in that Dimension and came back literally one with all spydas! Haha
@@DouglasThompsonis it possible to use them on floor with them raised a small bit so the bolts that hold the pedal wont be on the floor? Im planning on wither raising it or jigging some kind of inverted bracket from wood until i invest in a rig
The pedals are all far too stiff to work without being mounted. If you set them at thier absolute least resistance, possibly. No guarantees on that though.
really diggin the background music. i feel calm and refreshed now
;)
These pedals look really decent

Yes it does
What is the width of the foot plate? Looks like it may be a bit too wide for my rig.

You can make one probably pretty easily. How much extra height are you thinking you will need?
@DouglasThompson about 1inch. That's what i have with the raised sprints foot rest.
Also curious what you took out of the throttle to give it a bit more throw? One of the black spacers?
@jameslsimsports8514 that shouldnt be too hard. Maybe I can make a video about it...
@jameslsimsports8514 I made the throttle have less throw it had too much for me lol

Oh ya, all sim gear is compatible. :) not directly to the base though.
@@DouglasThompson oh nice! that’s okay as long as I run it to my pc tower?
Perfect
what is the difference from LC100 and GT1 pedals? they look kinda same but different at the same time so confused

@@DouglasThompson thanks, is the GT1 discontinued ? i think the lc100 is better with the hydraulic cylinder.
so it doesn't come with additional elastomers to change the feeling of the brake?
\
Mine didn't but it is easy to use what's here to get the brake feel you want. I can range from geo metro to brickwall in terms of brake feel.
Omggg bro I would shit myself if that spider was crawling up my arm ! I would have jumped up and hit my head on the base mount
Lol I am one with bugs.

clutch doesnt have the bite? weird choice
Most pedal sets ive seen don't have that feature. It feels good enough to shift though. ;)
It is weird they wouldn’t make a bite. It’s such a simple thing to do.
