In the last scene, when Lucifer says "Dad?" you can see the concern of any child to see the deterioration due to the age of the most important figure in his family. I think it happened to all of us at some point.
The actors actually talked about how they had to fight with Fox to do emotional scenes character building scenes they had to fight with them to do the mystical religious stuff they did get certain amount of structure from being at Fox that they didn't get at Netflix however with the lack of structure they had more creativity and more freedom to do whatever they felt would build the series best
This is one of my fav episodes of this season and one of the reason why it's my favourite 👍👏 Also loved how songs matched the scenes. Of course, first and the last scenes were my favs. Tom's performance is really precious 👍🥰👏 Yes, great choice for a God's role too, he is a multitalented man just like Tom. Well, all cast were amazing especially in this episode 👍 Also loved funny scenes - Chloe's first meeting with God and her conversation with him, and so with Dan. So different but such hilarious reactions 🤣 Plus God dancing is the funniest thing ever 🤣

So at first its Lauren German not Laura…. And she didnt sing because Lauren doesnt feel comfortable singing in front of people, so the writers accepted her desicion
