  • Take a detailed look around the high-speed turboprop Jet, the Italian P180 Piaggio Avanti.
We discuss front wing design, systems, performance, cockpit, cruise speed, rear facing propeller system, seating capacity, safety features, how to land the Piaggio Avanti, and all the features of the aircraft with Emma Mcdonald, the pilot of this aircraft from team Matt Hall Racing.
You might have seen Emma also flying the Red Bull aerobatics plane at some of the biggest airshows around the world, including the Pacific airshow on the Gold Coast and in California.

Nope. The sole purpose of the canard is to stall vastly faster than the main wing and the lift it generates is inconsequential. IN the Pig the front thing is in fact a wing but it has a canard effect too. The front wing allows the rear wing to be a bit further back and in fact the whole fuse is a lifting body. I'd love to know what happens if the encounter a swarm of insects.

Fastest turbo prop in the world, I guess none of you ever heard of a TU95 Bear, by the Russians. 1200 N Mile range plus what ever IFR/NBAA reserves It is not great, consider many mid sized jet have range starting at 3000miles +. I will not get in any single pilot airplane ,unless I get the co-pilot seat. Since I cannot check if the pilot had the Vax, like in countries such as Australia, Israel etc who fell for the trap, hook, line and sinker and are working hard to cover up the excess deaths. The pilot can suddenly keel over and someone else have to land the plane. I rather fly with a slightly drunk pilot.King Airs and PC12s are not quite as fast, but I bet I can get a used on far cheaper, and they are easier to load large cargo and get in/out of short strips.

The P51 is faster and it is a single engine piston developed during WW2. Hahahahha

I’m reading 382knts for the P51… so similar speed but not a passenger aircraft. I did a video interview with a P51 replica owner a few weeks ago, here is the TH-cam video of that if you have time: th-cam.com/video/v36gcQF5Mu4/w-d-xo.html

Is it really necessary to fly these airplanes around all the time... wasting money and fuel just to take rich people to vacation spots, "business" trips and blah dee dah? So funny. If people would invest their time and money on things that actually matter in this world, just imagine how wonderful it could be! Alas people's priorities are in the toilet.

I'm pretty sure all the people that build maintain and operate the plan appreciate the money invested in it.

It's absolutely necessary because it makes people like you feel uneasy. "Why do they think they have to fly these expensive airplanes?" you may ask.. well, because they can, and they don't care about your opinion.
