Growing up participating on Maine moose hunts and with a couple of my own under my belt, I have to assume it would be hard to judge size on some of these monsters. They would most all be a fine bull here back home.
I enjoyed your video fellas. You did exceptionally well for an unguided hunt in Alaska. I don’t know what the scoped rifle was but the other I assumed was a Marlin 45-70. Brought back a lot of good memories. Congratulations 👍
Seen a monster sized moose 🫎 😳 last fall. Didn't realize how big it was till I noticed a beaver house in front of it. Jaw dropping sized moose. I would see at least 1 super giant bull moose or cow every year or 2. Amazing animals & wilderness camp hunts to experience 1st hand. Enjoy more of Alaska's great untamed wilderness & wildlife.
Most beautiful and amazing animal and you have to kill it for purely selfish reasons how pathetic !! isn't the idea to cull the weakest animals not the strongest what a joke this is ...
@bigwoodsbucks1 lmao don’t bs me. You trophy hunters take a couple back straps for the novelty and the rest is handed out to the nearest village, the meat means absolutely nothing to you, neither does it to your clients in Maine so bs another moron lol. Absolutely nothing to do with what I’m talking about though, letting those bears all walk which you could afford to take out will kill calves in the future and if those calves are female you just eliminated countless moose with what they would’ve produced. Keep targeting solely the best genetics for a “trophy” and you will wipe out the genetics eventually for good just like in other states and provinces.
@bigwoodsbucks1 If was about meat im sure you wouldn’t have riddled the bull and shot it in the hind end lol pathetic shooting and disgrace to the hunting community.
Great hunt guys!!!! It was fun to edit up this video :)
Thank you for doing such a great job!
Lee congratulations excellent hunt nice to see good old boys hunting both had a great adventure

10:44 bull flushed a bird lol. Man what a dream hunt this must have been.
Yeah super cool thing to capture on film!!
Awesome video
Great hunt!
What caliber rifles did you fellas use
Ruger M77 in 35 Whelen
@@bigwoodsbucks1 Nice caliber I moved up from the Adirondacks over 30 years ago nothing like hunting and living in Alaska
Nice moose, my guess is that the moose that ran away smelled or saw a bear, its reaction in my opinion wasn't how a moose reacts to a human scent.
Great video. What you using for gun & scope?
@@randyross4298 m77 in 35 whelan.

Another great video ! Thanks guys
OHHHHHHH yea! Goose to the moose.
Why take the shot when he's still moving when a call might have made him stop for you? Just curious

Lmao I love how you leave the predators and take the best genetics from the area. Great conservation. Trophy hunting is a joke.
That “trophy” feeds way more people than a predator does.
