Notes: A secret tip to preventing the spices from burning in the oven is add 2 tablespoon of chicken stock on one corner of the tray in between cooking time. This is optional step but you'll see how moist and chicken tilapia turns out of oven. You can pour the chicken stock in the before popping the fish into the oven at the beginning, but it might dilute the spice rub mix making the fish loose some of it's spices into the liquid.
I think you are right. I think the written recipe is wrong and my end result did not really come out quite right. There was not nearly enough sauce to pour on my fillets.
okay, it's 2 tablespoon stock and not 2 cups btw. It's optional, you can choose to make baked fish without the stock (where it'll be on the drier side) also helps prevent burning of the spices when baked dry. With stock, ie. 2 tablespoons it will prevent the spices from burning but may dilute the spices when poured in. Mentioned these pointers on the post.

This was NOT a good recipe. I can't say that I totally disliked what I made, but the spices don't go well together, and I'm convinced the proportions on the recipe are wrong. As someone noted below, she seems to use a lot more lemon juice than is called for in the recipe. I did not have enough sauce to pour on my fillets by following the recipe. Thumbs down.
Sorry to hear you had bad experience. I am really interested to know what really turned you off, because I have had many 'real' users try this recipe and share their feedback which is 'they like d it'. Like the title says, this recipe is all about bold flavors - garlic, chili lemon being the main flavors/spices here. That's what you would get from the recipe. Also when you say sauce, are you mean no sauce to pour over while serving i guess. The recipe here isn't like saucy fish dish, the stock mainly here is added to prevent the spices from burning not really for pouring it over the fish while serving per se.

I'm so glad you liked the recipe Juanita.
Wow this looks amazing abt to make this ASAP
Hope you like it.
You had me at “butter!!” Did you put anything on the pan before putting the fish on top?
I greased pan with butter. You can do olive oil too.
Half of this video was brushing on the juice to the tilapia lmfao
Exactly. I was going to say the same thing.
after marination, do we need to wait for 30 to 40 mins before placing on the oven?
I didn't wait. Baked it soon as the marinade went on the fish
@@JyothiRajesh super sister . I tried and it was tasty
@@vivekc2471 glad you liked it
I don’t have lemon so I’m going to have to use limes.
That doesn’t look like one tablespoon of lemon juice looks like 1/4 cup

How about your recipe
With cup measurements
spices are measured in teaspoon or tablespoon. what ever can be measured in cup measurement I have mentioned in the recipe card
Maybe edit the videos a little more. People love really short to the point videos.
most of my videos are quick and fast. Will make a quicker version of this video when I can
Jyothi Rajesh great videos. Tomorrow hoping to try your stir fry. Keep it up!!!
That’s why there’s a playback speed button ....
The recipe on your website says optional- 2 cups of chicken stock. Why? Lol
