If you take a couple of the plastic clamps with a string in the hinges of each clamp, you can stretch them from the main stem at a downward angle to your sucker that is bearing fruit and give it some extra support.
I notice you ripen your tomatoes on the vine. I have been picking mine when they are 30% ripe because I've heard that the plant cuts off nutrients once the tomato starts ripening and also to keep bugs and animals from going after them.
Don't know if ya gonna see this, but I am so thankfull for your channel. My past was very troublesome, used to get into street beefs/f*ghts all the time, had terrible anger issues. But thanks to u and other gardening content creators, gardening calmed my heart. Thank u ❤❤

I am sitting here watching this, gorging myself on two kinds of corn and three kinds of tomatoes that I raised in my garden this year. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for your inspiring me to get back into gardening, JP!!! ❤❤❤❤ for Tuck!
Not going to lie, it's a jungle of tomatoes out there since my experiment didn't work I am okay with it. Started canning so while it's not pretty, it's plentiful and tastes good!
I heavily mulched around my tomato plants this year and they have gone gangbusters with fruit production. It really takes a lot of the stress out of watering and makes it more of a supplemental thing. Thanks for the awesome videos. Really gets me pumped up to get back out there in the morning.
OLD Leather Smith here, I have been watching U since the beginning & tried slot of your suggestions. I only grow HOT PEPPERS & I grow them together so I get a hotter pepper, then I dry them NATURALLY & then grind them all together 2 get a HOT PEPPER that I share with friends. My Lord picks them out through me, provides SUN & RAIN & I provide the labor. It's fun. Thank you. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️🥎🙃
@@masspatriot5409 no I had plenty of bees I think I just grew the wrong variety of tomatoes from my area this year I grew varieties I've never grown before I got them from mlgardner website
I’m in Arizona, I’ve had the best luck with early girl variety. Shade cloth or cover is imperative! Summer is extremely difficult for anything. We have been getting our best tomatoes in fall, winter, early spring. We have discovered our city water quality is getting worse also. We’ve been filling buckets and letting chlorine evaporate out and water at the base, never top water. We keep trying, Good luck to you Texans.
Hearts for the little boss. ♥♥♥ Worst season for me yet. Bunnies, chipmunks and squirrels have eaten over 40 green bean (pole and bush) plants, pulled up all of my beets, carrots, and more. I have a fenced garden and this year has been awful, but I can 100% say because of you, I'm not giving up. And.. probably getting a dog.
Every day I stand in awe of what God has created so perfectly. I watch as the bees pollinate the flowers. I watch the leaves inflate after rain. I see the beauty of creation every day in my garden. Thank you for all the tips and for sharing your knowledge in such a fun way. ❤️ for Tuck. Keep growin’!

❤ you Tuck! Thank you for your videos. I love watching your channel as you are closest to my Zone 7a garden in southeastern, Mass. This winter I followed your instructions on how to make greenhouse tops on my raised beds. It worked amazingly well and I harvested lettuce, spinach and mustard greens all winter. I very much appreciate your practical advise and vast knowledge.
I am too! I know nothing about growing tomatos but watching your channel taught me a lot . Now after all the pruning I make note to give them bonemeal and all purpose fertilizer to promote fruiting and vigor. Did not know that before till listening to your vlog.
Would love to see a harvest of all of those cool tomato varieties! I'm in zone 7A with a lot of problems with botrytis so I'm sure I'll need blight/wilt resistant varieties. I'm learning a lot from you! ❤❤❤❤ for Tuck!
I was devastated last season when I basically had zero yield from my tomatoe plants and this year they are doing awesome so far. I am feeding & pruning on a regular basis. Thank you for your advice 😊
James. Great idea. Leave suckers on indeterminant until they get fruit then cut them and get longer harvest w/o all the leaves that take energy. Fertilize top dress while production is high w. balanced fertilizer and bone meal, mulch.❤ Cukes and beans for Tuck. ❤❤. Let's Go.
I made trellis like this with 8 foot T-posts and 10 foot conduit. And a few other necessary stuff. I love this method. They are so easy to prune like this. I have 4 ten foot trellises, and im going to do a couple more nest year. Thank you James, you made my life easier. I also used shade cloth this year and what a difference. ❤❤❤❤❤ for the little boss. Hi Tuck, I can't forget you.

I’ll be growing the ‘Cauralina’ tomato next year in my raised bed vegetable garden, and I was wondering how resistant it is to disease and cracking/splitting? Thank you for your inspiration and helpful techniques that you share in your video! ❤️❤️❤️ Hearts for Tuck 🐶
Gorgeous lush garden ! I just wanted to take a bite of one of those red tomatoes 🍅 My leaves have been turning brown and yellow for a few years now so this year I made a raised bed in the same place because that’s where I get the most sun. They did the same thing, brown leaves working up the plant. I put down straw for mulch. In addition, have about 6 tomatoes with blossom end rot. I think I made things worse !!!
Hi james, I have seen almost all your videos, it has been an inspiration to me, I'll start soon to do my own. Thank you for your videos. Sway hi to Tuck, the big boss
Thanks so much for the information! This is my first year gardening. I have learned a lot of what not to do through experiences and you've taught me where I've gone wrong and you're always so passionate about it. I don't know if you read this, but what can I do if my cherry tomato plants are flowering but not producing very many at all (1 tomato so far🤔🤣) Tuck ❤❤❤❤
I got a tomato plant ive been growing for 3 years now. I take limbs and sprout them and then plant those limbs outside. Makes tasty fruit. And the original makes a nice houseplant.
Per your recommendation on videos, I am growing the super sweet 100 variety this year. I’m really looking forward to it ripening! ❤️❤️❤️s for the little boss. My dog Charlie says hi to him!
