Zex Safe Shot Nitrous System Part #82357 installed pre supercharger but post MAF and a RPM window switch (IAT will drop 30+ degrees average during a 1/4 mile pass)
I'd turn the 2 step up until the back tire couldn't handle it anymore. Of course better air would make for better ET's. I'd just monitor the tune and add boost until it showed knock. Get what you can out of that stock motor man! This car needs to go 9s stock motor! Turn it up and let her eat!
In your opinion is it safe to throw boost at the gen 1 coyotes over 100k? It’s a daily driver for now but I would love to see those numbers out of it! Also would love to see more boost thrown at it.
Dude if the thing is maintained right and continues to be its fine. Maintain it don't run it low on oil don't beat on it with a cold engine etc. Just be smart people worry too much about miles this ain't 1960 these modern engines can go 100s of thousands of miles properly maintained even boosted.
e85 and turn boost up a bit to 11-12#s imo.. Id think stock engine can handle 750ish...jmo ps. Ive been following since first video cus i also have a high milage coyote i want to boost and race.
Hey Brent! Up to date forreal now. I think more boost is in view, it’s had consistent numbers with mods and the launch style in each video I’ve watched, upping the boost will definitely be around the corner!
Great Videos. Have you ever done a tune for a built N/A setup with some NOx? I have a Fully Built, Sleeved 5.2L, Cross plane Crank, Ported GT350 Heads, 12.1, Stage III Cams, VCT Lockouts, Ported CJ Intake and TB. NOx is a plate setup.
I used to run spray on this car, but to answer your question I have not tuned a fully built nitrous engine like you are talking about. We normally run superchargers in here on built engine set ups.
That's what I was hoping for with a 150-200 shot. Motor alone should make north of 600 to the tires. I have a built MT82 so it will interesting to see how it holds up.
Joe Bloe yeah motor like that will hold almost anything you throw at it. My buddy with the n/a will be throwing a huge kenne bell at it and make well over 1000whp
Jason Byassee I went from 3.15 to 3.73 and gained dropped 60ft and 330ft. Mph didn’t change. But recently installed a circle d so went back to a 3.15 since it don’t get out the whole like a dog. No testing yet on new set up but I got videos on my page
I think it would help 60, but not done a back to back on ET so not sure on that. Not sure what I will do on that one.... I run 373 on most everything I will try these for a while to see what I think. THANKS!
I messed with it several times over the weekend, but I am thinking I ended up leaving it locked top of 2nd and a good part of 3rd. (crossed in 3rd). I would have to look at the logs to know for sure where I ended up it was a long ass weekend and not many passes for as long as I was on site.
NOS gives you full torque and power right at wide open throttle vs. building boost with RPM. NOS often falls off on the big end where boost keeps you cooking... so they each have a benefit.
Hey Brent do you still have the stock 11-12 shifter or did you swap it to a 13-14 5.0 select shift ?? I’ve been wanting to change mine to a 13-14 select shift.
Hey are you finishing at redline in 3rd gear with a 3.15 Gear and 28” tire? I’ve been running a 3.73 gear so I can use all 4 gears effectively. But recently installed a converter and trying to see if I’ll gain anything going back to a 3.15
What fuel were you running in these passes? Would you recommend using a dw400 to run e85 without a return system ? Seen multiple builds push over 700whp without fuel issues and wondering if you can get away with it
Hey Brent congrats on some good runs! I think it would be cool to run more boost on the stock motor and see what it runs. I have to agree with you from looking at the video the car seems to leave pretty soft off the line.
Wait until good air with neg da. Until then, lighten the car if you havent already. See where is at with cold air and you can determine exactly what you will need to do to hit 9s.
Brent I love picking your brain lol. MAy question is how in the world does a 2018/19 10r80 car trap 100+ in the 1/8th with just full exhaust, e85? I might be internet racing but I have seen a few trap that high in the 1/8 and roughly 125 in the 1/4?
Well couple things. That is not all cars, and it most of time in amazing air. I mean even this high mile car trapped 121 in crazy good air on 93 octane all motor, but it would also trap like 116-117 in bad air.
@@BrenspeedEngineering exactly ppl need to realize da matters alot. The ceazy times and mph are done usually in negative da which is unheard if here in bristol tennesee where i run the track is never opened during a time when da woud be close to that if we can get 1500-2000 were doing good here lol.
stang8psi get this, Saturday I ran at 9am and 9m, 12 hours apart! That day was crazy track kept getting smoked. That event was huge normally you don’t wait that long for your class to go but with people breaking it was a long ass wait.
I Would love to see how far you can push it with the stock engine.. .
Yah I know, me too.... LOL
@@BrenspeedEngineering Did you put the torque booster on this car with a 3.33 pulley.
Coyote never seizes to amaze me! Throw some more timing at it, SEND IT!!!!
Knocks were happy on those runs, maybe more down low. THANKS FOR WATCHING
Ported 2018 intake manifold, E85 and maybe some taller gears. Thanks for the step by step content you've given us with this project....awesome!!!

I agree I think it would hold 4k, THANK FOR WATCHING!

Nice square launch, no leaning or twisting from what I can see, good job.
THANKS

ps. Ive been following since first video cus i also have a high milage coyote i want to boost and race.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Did you end up boosting it I’m curious if it’s just safer to swap out valves and rods pistons etc just so it’ll last longer I have 111,000 miles
Hey Brent! Up to date forreal now. I think more boost is in view, it’s had consistent numbers with mods and the launch style in each video I’ve watched, upping the boost will definitely be around the corner!

Joe Bloe there’s a tuner named Eddie at addiction motor sports that’s done same build you have on spray.car is deep into the 9s with t56

Just a 5.0 they told me with the sleeves, it can support 1500whp. The motor should be going into the car next week. CANNOT wait.
Love brenspeed videos! The high mileage Mustang is awesome way awesome.
Thanks for watching the videos!
Great Content👍
Subscribed beginning of the year..just BINGED watched the high mileage coyote vids..
THANKS!
I’d be curious to 3.73’s in the car.
Keeping the rpm’s higher should help quite a bit, plus get you out of the hole quicker.
Yes I normally run 3.73, but decided to try the 3.15 in this since so many people hype about it. Not sure what I think of them yet.
Jason Byassee I went from 3.15 to 3.73 and gained dropped 60ft and 330ft. Mph didn’t change. But recently installed a circle d so went back to a 3.15 since it don’t get out the whole like a dog. No testing yet on new set up but I got videos on my page
Hey Brent you should throw the 3.73 back in it and see if you gain some mph or drop that 60ft down
I think it would help 60, but not done a back to back on ET so not sure on that. Not sure what I will do on that one.... I run 373 on most everything I will try these for a while to see what I think. THANKS!
Brenspeed I did my 3.73 because of your builds. On a stock converter it’s a no brainer but on a loose converter who knows what’s best
swap the intake manifold and run e85. With the auto, you could probably run high 9's without the extra boost.
I do still have that intake laying around......
I'm glad someone is doing this for science.
Thanks for watching!!!!
A return style fuel system and torque booster mod would be nice on this car. This car made me get a coyote. Modern Fox-Body all day.
THANKS for watching!
So moral of the story is folks, save your money and run a 150 shot!
Ive watched every video. Are you just putting the car in drive or sport mode and letting it shift itself?
Just putting it in drive and letting it rip.
Hey Brent when are you locking that converter up at?
I messed with it several times over the weekend, but I am thinking I ended up leaving it locked top of 2nd and a good part of 3rd. (crossed in 3rd). I would have to look at the logs to know for sure where I ended up it was a long ass weekend and not many passes for as long as I was on site.
Hi what shock settings do you run in the rear ?
Damn that was so long ago I can't remember but we did change them pretty much at every track.
How much does the car weigh?
What the fuel system setup? Dont see a video link on it
Where are you located what state
Indiana 46562
Besides the converter, did you do anything to the stock transmission?
No it is the stock transmission.
Wow, and it has 165,000
It leafy off the line harder with the nitrous. Can anybody explain to me why
NOS gives you full torque and power right at wide open throttle vs. building boost with RPM. NOS often falls off on the big end where boost keeps you cooking... so they each have a benefit.
Nice Brent! Shes just getting broken in!!!
I hear that!
Hey Brent do you still have the stock 11-12 shifter or did you swap it to a 13-14 5.0 select shift ?? I’ve been wanting to change mine to a 13-14 select shift.
Chris 302 all stock shifter
I want you to push it as hard as you can with the stock motor. It's impressive.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Hey are you finishing at redline in 3rd gear with a 3.15 Gear and 28” tire? I’ve been running a 3.73 gear so I can use all 4 gears effectively. But recently installed a converter and trying to see if I’ll gain anything going back to a 3.15
Yah 3rd, it was crossing at right about 7700 I think maybe a bit higher.
Brenspeed does this car have upgraded opg?
I would like to see a bit more gear, boost and maybe some e85. It looks to have quite a bit more in it.
Thanks for the suggestions! And thanks for watching!
more gear Brent ! I would get a set of 355's these cars a heavy and need a little help getting into boost
christopher rodowicz I’ve been using 3.73 gears with boost and its work well. But I think there a certain power level where there counter productive.
What fuel were you running in these passes? Would you recommend using a dw400 to run e85 without a return system ? Seen multiple builds push over 700whp without fuel issues and wondering if you can get away with it
I have a DW400, E85 and Procharger I needed to add bap because it was starting to run out of fuel over 6200 but now is fine with pump.
13SS LOL at what power level was it running out with just the dw400? How much are you making now with the bap?
Just a 5.0 haven’t had on dyno but it’s makes 9 to 10 psi
13SS LOL okay nice and fuel isn’t a issue at all? I plan to stay at 7-8 psi just wanna throw some corn at it . Made 610 on 91 with a bap and Ford 87#
Just a 5.0 short term fuel trims are perfect now no problem
- E85 with a return style fuel system
- More boost😇
- 9s!
Nice plan!
Hey Brent congrats on some good runs! I think it would be cool to run more boost on the stock motor and see what it runs. I have to agree with you from looking at the video the car seems to leave pretty soft off the line.
Yah I think it would have held at 4k, at 3500 it had zero issues hooking.
Can you please tell me which converter size do you have?
Circle D, roughly 3800 stall. 245mm 4C
Here is a link also www.brenspeed.com/38-13-04.html
Brenspeed thanks a lot man
Brenspeed which tire do you recommend for an auto
This video link should go over the tires we use th-cam.com/video/gjL_Go1spgk/w-d-xo.html
Wait until good air with neg da. Until then, lighten the car if you havent already. See where is at with cold air and you can determine exactly what you will need to do to hit 9s.
I am not sure if I can be patient enough to wait for that kind of air, that is a couple months out! THANKS

you guys coming down to street car takeover in BG this weekend?
Mitch Barber sorry can’t make it this weekend
Smaller pulley and E85
And fuel system then lol.
Great video building a lower mileage 14 Myself.
Underfedcoyote 5.0 I bet you will love it. Thanks for watching!
No more boost.
More boost
Hmmmmmm maybe :)
Put 3.73 gears in it to get into boost quicker.
Thanks for the comment!
More boost
