I wouldn't consider this film as particularly _"Sam Peckinpah's Iconic Western Movie."_ But Peckinpah's 1969 *_"The Wild Bunch",_* which he both wrote and Directed, is without question a largely unparalleled TRUE Iconic Western....!!! 👌 Thanks for this entertaining upload nonetheless.... though not particularly on par with Peckinpah's rather classic cinematic style "combo" of lacing both undercurrent social commentary with often graphic Realism. MANY of the "interpersonal scenes" here throughout border on the Silly = _"Sam Peckinpah later claimed that his screenplay had been ruined by the miscasting of all three of the leading cast members."_ - IMDB

It strikes me that the good Captain should be spending far more time in the training of the new Company vice hanging round in town. They only have a short time to be trained to be part of the pending deployment against highly capable Sioux warriors.
