Thanks, Marilyn! I learned this method from another TH-camr. I like it better than using cotton swabs because I get a sense of how the ink will feel in a nib. 😀
I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want to get a bottle of Pelikan Edelstein Olivine. The only thing holding me back is that I wish it had at least a little water resistance.
@@TheresaRobertsonLROL The only difference is the color of the box. The cards are the same. I have one more card to go in my red box, then I get to start on my blue box. 😀
I’ve been debating getting this ink for quite a while, but now I think I’m sold. I really enjoy all the Edelstein inks I’ve used.
I recently used the tweezer method to do ink swatches at the last Pen club meeting I was impressed that it worked so good Thanks Kathy :)

@@gadgetstop321 it's even good with some needle nose tweezers almost like writing with a dip nib sharp though works great
Thank you! I just love green inks!!
Me too, Sonya! 💚
Thanks for the info on switching my pilot Prera CM nib with a metropolitan fine.
You're welcome, Pennie! I love that nearly all of Pilot's stainless steel nibbed pens use the same size nib.
I’ll have to try and get some of this since I definitely can’t get any Monteverde Olivine ink.

Can you tell me the name of your ink swatch cards? I really like yours.
They are Tsubame Ink Collection Cards and I got them from Shigure Inks.
@@gadgetstop321 Thank you. Is there a difference between the red and blue boxes?
