Always appreciate your videos!! Thanks for your efforts. Ama-iro is a great color; I'm a big fan of the Pilot Iroshizuku inks in the blue range of colors.
Thank you, Michael! The first six bottles of ink that I tried when I got into this hobby were from the Iroshizuku line, so I just took it for granted that all fountain pen ink was this well behaved. My appreciation for them has grown over the years. 😀
The Parker Premier looks beautiful! 🥰 Took a little video break and looked on eBay, but only found black with gold or silver trim or entirely gold-plated. The prices were out of my league too. Ama Iro is very pretty just like Kon Peki. Do you have Aji Sai too? Would be nice to see that compared to your blue inks. 😇💜🙏🙌
@@sushanart ajisai used to be one of my favourites when I started: it’s a less saturated blurple ink - like Kathy, as I’ve tried more inks, I seem to prefer the more saturated colours like Diamine Oxford blue and midnight blue(my current favourite!:)
I had been searching for a Parker Premier in this color for 3 years. I would have preferred a fine nib, but like you mentioned, the prices that people are asking are astronomical. However, I don't think people are actually paying those prices. I was able to get a good deal on this one because it was being auctioned on eBay. I've been able to get good deals on other pens because the seller accepted my offer that was less than their asking price. I thought I had a sample of Aji Sai but I guess I don't. I just looked it up though and it's beautiful. 😀
Nice ink! And Yay, a furball sighting. 😊❤
Thanks Peggy! If I'm cleaning pens you can bet that those two will be supervising. 😀
thanks for this my retired math teacher colleague! love the thorough way you review inks: you do it the way I’d do it!:)
You're welcome, Angus! I really enjoy playing with ink and figuring out which pens and paper they are best suited for (if any). 😉
