1997 we had the whole Jerez incident. Surprisingly, that's the only negative thing that springs to mind, at least for me. 1998-2008 we had small cars and grooved tyres, automatically disqualifying any of those seasons from being good. Also the cars struggled to overtake due to dirty air and there was more often than not a one-team domination. 2009-2016 we had ugly cars, automatically disqualifying any of those seasons from being good. Also we had DRS, cars struggling to overtake, one-team domination and rubbish Pirelli tyres. 2017-2021 the cars looked better, but struggled to overtake still. Also DRS, rubbish Pirelli tyres, you know the drill. In 2022 we were promised better cars, and yet we were once again failed miserably by the leaders of the sport. Also DRS, rubbish tyres, and now also the toxicity brought on by social media. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
