You did not dispose of your fire well enough! Never assume the ground won’t catch fire after you leave. You must soak the fire then mix it in with your hands and cast the wet mucky balls around your area. Till there’s absolutely nothing left!! Then kick over the ground and leaves to hide your fire place. You must be extremely thorough. You’ll be glad that you were afterwards, and your hands can easily enough be cleaned. I did enjoy your vid, with a day of hiking to follow I thought more carbs in your stewpot by way of potatoes might have been a good idea. Although, it could be that I love potatoes in a stew. Thank you for sharing.

This is Algeria? That is cool! In my ignorance I've always had this mental image of loads of sand and painfully hot weather in my head when thinking about Algeria. I guess this must be a northern part of the country somewhere in the mountains. Anyway, it was a great trip. Deliciously looking food and relaxing rainy atmosphere. You just got a new subscriber. Здравствуйте, спасибо. У вас был тент = многие действия можно было выполнить во время дождя под его прикрытием (в дождь просто сидеть под пологом и в мокрой одежде не надо). Натянуть полог и сразу собрать ветки, дерево для распила под укрытие (развести костёр перед входом и сжигать в нём ветки и обрезки = колоть на дрова нужно для печи - в костре можно пережечь стволы дерева пополам до получения нужной длины). И ещё много другого. Извините

At 12:20 that was painful to see. You may consider using a pointed stick (like one of the two you prepared for your reflector wall support) instead of dulling your axe when loosening the soil. Next, when splitting firewood you could increase safety by holding the wood lengthwise parallel to the stub with the blade rested on the far end and then tap the two down on the stub. Blade splits the log then one twist with the axe and they come apart, without you risking your hand and fingers. Otherwise, excellent video as others have pointed out 🌳🌲🌿✨

Thank you for keeping the camera inside the tarp. This way viewers can actually get a closer feeling of being inside the tarp. The sound of rain on the tarp and the view from inside the shelter is far more realistic. Most people keep the camera outside for too long which feels like watching it from a distance.
