I wish Blood DK would someday be viable in arenas. And ty for the video!! I hope u continue to find the time to make guides like this and for the other classes.
Blood was actually super viable at the end of Legion! The issue comes with the inherent design of tanks not being good for competitive arena which causes them to usually not be viable.
Is all of this still true? I know you said it's from beta and subject to change. I'm mostly curious about the azerite trait stacking portion and stat priorities. Everything else was pretty straight forward to me but I thought trait stacking was good for udk in pvp.
You may want to consider some of the better PvE traits like Thunderous Blast. Another possible option is stacking Last Surprise which seems to do great damage but may get nerfed (if it hasn't already). If Festermite doesn't actually work in PvP then you should avoid it but it definitely worked before. Having 1 Cankerous Wounds can also still be good for getting more Necrotic Strikes out and Harrowing Decay might also be a good choice.
Hi thx so mutch for guide! I have a question about bursting single target. I put plague on target and pet to attack target. After if I wanna burst him fast should be better 2 fastering strike , pet transformation- unholy frenzy- apocalyps- soul repair and necrotic plus coil? Or is stupid try to insta burts one target?
Just tell me one thing. How to survive as uh, I get totaly oblitered in few secs in bg or arena. Thats why I have been playing blood, that can survive 1v3 for long times
Ty for upload, one question. I stacked 2x thunderous blasts and 1 head my call trait, it seems to proc off dots and does a lot of dmg. Would u consider the ones u shared with us best w/o a doubt or could the lighting stack be viable?
You can definitely mix and match with Thunderous Blast. It's the best trait for pretty much every spec in PvE right now and is likely to get nerfed, but it its current form it's really good for DPS and potentially even burst.

I still think that that is not the case - Necrotic Strike and many other honortalents got nerfed before BfA even launched - yet you present them as top tier talents. DK is not strong right now. I would never suggest a new player trying to get into pvp to play a DK.
You are right about that. Dk was strong in legion cuz of frost and unholy imo was trash in dps. Now both of those spec are trash😂😂 I main unholy, I die pretty quickly and sometimes i ask myself how the fuck other class are doing more damage than me for both pvp and pve like pally and hunters.
Any spec that primarily focuses on slowly killing everyone on the opposing team with dot damage, so affliction warlocks, shadow priests, balance druids etc.

Why does it seem that death pact doesn't heal nearly 50% of your max hp? The heal seems very small...
Death Pact does for heal 50% - you probably used it while you had a healing reduction debuff on you, such as Mortal Strike.

Unholy DKs need ramp up, so it's fine to spend some globals on setting up your burst.

PvP isn't balanced around being able to survive like that - competitive arena is 3v3 which is where most of their efforts go to for balancing.

No, you can't stack the Cankerous Wounds trait.
You can stack it doesn't increase the chance it'll give you 3 wounds. It only increases the dmg.
