Forse è l'esecuzione più veloce che abbia mai ascoltato: è pur bravo l'organo a starti dietro....
Essendo un esercizio per pedaliera, non si potrebbe fare meglio.
    Complimenti, bravo, grazie.
    Saluti.

Well done. And bloody fast to! No trying to answer the question with a little improvisation?

Question for organists: When I was a musician, I played 13-15 instruments. However, the organ wasn't one of them. In the totality of whatever YOU consider great organ music, does the right foot, which plays the "higher lower" notes, generally carry the melody on the pedals? (I see it seems different for this piece, although my two most major instruments were viola and bassoon, which as you all know, don't have pedals...) :) THANKS!

usually there isnt a melody on the pedals, they act as a single voice so both feet play one line. When there are multiple voices in the pedals its never one foot taking priority over the other and usually both feet playing an exact interval away from each other. Think of it like a bowed string. mostly you play one line of music but sometimes you double stop in 6ths, 8ths, 10ths etc

Sometimes when the pedals have the main melody, there often is one dominant foot. If I'm playing a piece which has the pedal part very high, I'm playing that with a 4' stop (bringing everything up an octave) and with my right foot almost exclusively. Though, if it's a bass pedal melody, my left foot is the one doing a lot of the work.
These are in the context of cantus firmus melodies, which are all in long notes and often in steps or small skips, so the movement doesn't require both feet.
In ordinary contexts, the feet are just two extra fingers and work together.

è l'esecuzione più veloce che abbia mai sentito, però siccome si tratta appunto di un esercizio, niente da dire al riguardo, è interessante.

Use organ shoes ! It will help if you want to play it faster!

Strana tecnica dal mio punto di vista,il mio prof di organo mi ha sempre detto di tenere le ginocchia ferme e di lavorare solo con le caviglie

My organ teacher told me to use certain techniques which I found not entirely suitable. Unlike the keyboards which are largely standardised, we have different types of pedal boards, flat parallel used here, concave parallel and concave racial ,(AGO) which seems the most common now. Our feet are different so I guess we have to find our most suitable techniques, best shoes etc for the type of pedal board we use. You tube has done wonders as we can now see how different organists play with their feet.

I love this piece, and I play the organ myself, but I think this is being played too fast. I do respect others opinions on the speed. I would play this an octave slower.
