the 5 min beats are so cool to watch! u should do 5 min, 10 min, 30min beats etc. maybe u and paryo or Rio can do like a head to head with the same starting sample to see where u guys go from there
it is quantizing or choppin or ctrl + l I dont remember what it was called in english. When you are in piano roll go to left top corner and check for tools from the list and you will have all the shortcut listed
select in the channel rack of the sample you want to change, scroll through your samples either with mouse or arrow keys, click enter key on the sample you like and itll swap the current sampler in the channel rack to the one you have selected
Its interesting how u just start putting things on piano roll, then effects and eventually u come up with some craft with the direction for the rest of the beat, whereas as i can remember most of my beats were made the songwriting way - i already know what i want to hear and achieve (and it ends up going into another direction anyway lol). Okay as im writing this it seems obvoius but i just thought that. Maybe i should try your way more....
