Yeah Daisy Cruiser is more likely than Mushroom Bridge. Wiggler's track could be either Squeaky Clean Sprint or Sunset Wilds.

While I normally agree with Albert... I gotta agree with Bertal this time. Putting Athens Dash in the Feather Cup feels extremely likely due to how prevalent feathers are in Greek art, and Wave 4 showed that the city and original tracks are all going to match the prefix leak, no matter how they're shuffled around. And Albert made a good point that I haven't seen anyone else mention, that being that including Piranha Plant Cove as the final course of the Cherry Cup would mean that there are four lap-switching tracks in Wave 5, which is too many. To balance it out, put Piranha Plant Cove in Wave 6 so that there are three each. Rant over, I agree with Bertal
I think if a city isn’t going to be released on time, they’ll change it so that there is 3 lap switching tracks in Waves 5 and 6 (Athens Dash, Los Angeles Laps and Piranha Plant Cove in Wave 5 and Vancouver Velocity, Madrid Esplanade and Rio De Janeiro in Wave 6)
I mean, you have a point, but I don't think 4 lap switching tracks is too many, as long as they are unique, but you never know, the bathroom track or any other unreleased track could be a lap switching track
@@unclejenine6264 not a chance, according to Tour's datamines mobMD as well as the gap between Paris and Singapore (Rio) will be three tracks, and mobBR and mobDK will be just one. And yeah four is too many it's literally half the wave

@@unclejenine6264 there's a substantial ID gap between Paris and Singapore, and they're all listed alphabetically, so the biggest city that could fit there is Rio!
Very interesting! I still think that Athens Dash will be in Wave 5, but I won't be that suprised if it doesn't. As for new items, Mega Mushroom is a must have addition, but I think a much better item instead of the Bowser Shell would be the Fake Item Box.

For surprise additions, I think they should either add new items and/or maybe improve the earlier Waves graphics or something. Anyways, these are definitely the most logical predictions I've seen for this Wave!

Koopa Cape is my favourite wii track and I’m actually more scared then excited for Koopa cape. In 7 even though they removed the best part, at least the track still looked nice. I got hope though because every wii track has been a banger (except for mostly coconut mall)

Wave 5 isn't "summer themed". It just happens to be releasing in summer. Besides, it's winter in the Southern Hemisphere, so Vancouver Velocity will cover them.

@@mariobroultimate1808 I’m not saying it won’t happen (honestly, it’s starting to seem more likely), but I think the only reason they’d actually want to push Vancouver Velocity forward to Wave 5 is so that people can finally play one of the most beloved city courses early (similar thing probably happened with Bangkok Rush in wave 4), otherwise, it doesn’t make that much sense to put it in Wave 5
Also, the weird part might not even be releasing a winter track in the “summer season” (Snow Land has already done that before), but rather, the lack of any winter tracks in wave 6, when Merry Mountain was in wave 3 (especially when it’s the only city track that’s also snow-themed)

I have daisy cruiser in wave 6 because Im 100% positive the mobdk track (Daisy themed) will be the final track in this wave. Its supposed to come out like 2 weeks after most people predict this wave to come out, just like sky high sundae and yoshis island. I'm also really confident that Piranha plant cove is gonna be classified as a tour track like the cities opposed to a nitro like merry mountain because of its three lap design.
The bathroom course is set to come the tour before.
Not only is Squeaky Clean Sprint coming first, but mobDK is also probably gonna be Donkey Kong themed

@@playerlgamer0592 It's probably Sarassaland-themed according to the ID gaps. Donkey Kong is always abbreviated as one word in asset names anyway.

There's evidence towards a Halloween course being the last new non-city course to come to Tour (at least for the Booster Course Pass), though it's only a theory. The original selection for wave 6 also included two autumn courses, Vancouver Velocity and Maple Treeway, according to datamines.
definitely good predictions i could maybe see coming, and great to see you back albert! c: the only two things i wanna mention are:
1. if vancouver velocity really already comes to wave 5 of the booster course pass, we will (most certainly) be left without a single snow track in wave 6, which will release in winter. because the only retros you'd be missing out are GCN daisy cruiser, GCN dk mountain/dino dino jungle and Wii Rainbow Road (if the datamines / predictions are correct), and i don't feel like any other cities/nitros will adapt a snowy theme, but we'll see
2. mobdk has most recently been datamined to debut in mario kart tour alongside daisy and desert tracks, making us think that it could have something to do with either one of the two topics or both (like sarasaland). in that case it would be weird to see it right after sunset wilds, making me rather think that the bathroom course will be the surprise course for this wave
We don't know if wave 6 will be releasing in winter. It could release in autumn depending on when wave 5 releases. Nintendo never said wave 6 was releasing exactly on 31st December 2023.

@@harrybest2041except that Wave 4 didn’t release that much earlier in its year than Wave 1 did in its year, so it’s safe to assume that Wave 5 will release at around the same time as Wave 2 did last year, and same for Wave 6 and Wave 3

Great prediction this time around! I still personally think Bowser Castle 3 would be switched to Wave 6, so I would personally put Mushroom Bridge in its place and then Daisy Cruiser as the second track of the Cherry Cup. I don't think it would clash too hard with other water tracks in the wave, since it would be the only one of its kind in one cup. However, I also think this prediction finally sold me on Athens Dash being moved to Wave 6. I previously still thought it would open the Feather cup, with LA Laps ending it, but I think your explanation of balancing out the Tour nitros between this wave and Wave 6 increases its chance significantly of being in Wave 6. That was always the weirdest part of the prefix leak for me.
As for the characters, I really like this Cup ID Theory! I'd been scratching my head the whole time trying to find some explanation for what the characters could be, and this makes sense! Sad that it would mean no Funky Kong, and *especially* sad that King Bob-omb would miss out by just one slot, but it is what it is.
I definitely agree that the most likely additional change would be new items. I think that the most likely are the Bowser Shell and the Fake Item Box, though I'd be fine with the latter being swapped with the Mega Mushroom or the Heart. I really, REALLY hope you're right about Bangkok Rush being changed, because it was the biggest disappointment of the entire BCP for me, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. I still think the Battle Courses are a possibility (four for each wave) but wouldn't call them "likely." Unsure what exactly they would be, but if the Cup ID Theory is correct, New York Minute B would (unfortunately) fit with Pauline.
At the same time, making Wave 6 *extra* special and different from the other Waves, and they might also be preparing us for Wave 6 being full of Nitros with them including 3 city trcks for Wave 4&5, making you more used to Waves full of Tour tracks…
Also with the new items thing, Fake Item Boxes aren’t even in Tour, so they’re 100% not coming…

Honestly, why would they choose a mid track like Mushroom Bridge over the best GCN track? A lot of people would be disappointed.

Honestly, both yours and your twin’s are quite likely, since the selection only has one change between both of them.
Considering everything, I think some are either lock-ins, or unknown until additional information is given.
In terms of release date, I don’t think it’ll release in June, there may be a teaser, or even a full trailer in that month, between this week, and the final week of June, and August would be too late, considering Wave 4 released 3 months after Wave 3, the 28th, 29th or 30th of July is possibly the latest, with the 5th, 6th or 7th of July being the earliest it could release, as that would be 4 months after Wave 4.
Battle stages would be awesome, but Bangkok Rush definitely deserves an update in multiple mechanics, items is likely the last thing for Nintendo, but I‘m just hoping that they announce it soon, there’s too many videos coming out, so hopefully, we’ll get something.

Here’s the thing with piranha plant cove. In wave 1 they dropped a tour nitro that was already in the game, wave 2 they dropped a brand new one that came to tour later on, in wave 3 they dropped one that was already in tour, wave 4 they dropped a new one again that came to tour at a later date. Piranha plant cove would be the one nitro that’s as already in the game nitro ending off the cherry cup

@AlbertBoris This is a bit of a stretch, but there could actually and technically be a 3rd form of content that Nintendo could surprise us with in Wave 5 and/or Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass.
Additional vehicles.
Particularly, vehicles from past Mario Kart games, including Tour; such as...
- Wild Wing (Mario Kart Wii)
- Flame Flyer (Mario Kart Wii; Cameo'd in Bangkok Rush)
- Royale (Mario Kart DS; Cameo'd in Bangkok Rush)
- Etc.
After all, someone online brought about such a possibility when detailing the Mario Kart Hot Wheels toys.
Probably my favourite Wave was Wave 3. They added MK7 Rainbow Road, and that track was *AWESOME*
don't forget Maple Treeway, Merry Mountain & Berlin Byways

Feather Cup 🪶: Athens Dash would be a good start because feathers are associated with Greek Mythology and other cultures.
GBA Sunset Wilds 🏜️: It's leaked to be the third track of the Feather Cup, but it will be the second track of the Feather Cup. Let me explain. The second course of the first cup of a wave is a simplistic course that's easy. These courses include, Toad Circuit, SNES Mario Circuit 3, Boo Lake, and Riverside Park, which Sunset Wilds could fit perfectly there.
Koopa Cape 🐢: Koopa Cape fits summer because there's all that water flow and stuff, but people hate the underwater section, but I actually like it because it's unique, plus we may see the first and only underwater half-pipe in the entire game too!

Piranha Plant Cove 🌿
Thanks To Petey Piranha coming to wave 5 the last track pf the feather cup may not be LA Laps because Petey is associated with Piranha Plant Cove which may switch spots with another city track so Piranha Plant Cove could end the Feather Cup, and I see this happening because the Fruit Cup ended with a Nitro which Waves 1-3's First Cup's last tracks ended with a retro, including Coconut Mall, Waluigi Pinball, and Maple Treeway, and speaking of Maple Treeway, we may see another prefix leak change here do I'm keeping Piranha Plant Cove!
Cherry Cup 🍒: LA laps 🌴
Los Angeles Laps, may end up here instead of the end of the Feather Cup because of PPC (Piranha Plant Cove) being associated with Petey. Los Angeles fits summer perfectly, so if I don't see it Wave 5, I'll go INSANE!! All of LA's variants start at different locations which is the only city to do so. This could be a complicated feature so It just makes sense to put Los Angeles Laps here.
GCN Mushroom Bridge: 🍄
Wiggler is one of the 3 characters to return in this wave, so what does Mushroom Bridge have to do with Wiggler? That's right! There is a Wiggler Wagon/Bus found in the course, but Nintendo could surprise us with Daisy Cruiser or DK mountain or even Dino Dino Jungle, but I'm locking in Mushroom Bridge.
SNES Bowser Castle 3: 🌋 🏰
Kamek is the last of the 3 characters to return to Wave 5 and he is part of Bowser's Minions which Bowser of Course has a castle, plus WE NEED A BOWSER'S CASTLE SOON!!! (Prefixs may change like Wave 4. All of Wave 4's retro Prefixes were correct, but none of them were at the correct spots.)
Squeaky Clean Sprint 🧼 🧽 🛁
Finally, Squeaky Clean Sprint or the rumored MOBbr track, would end off Wave 5 and the prefix leak would only make sense. The course has many alternate paths, heck, There's even 2 finish banners (I think) at the End/Start of the lap, Just like Mario Kart 7's Bowser Castle! This would be a great finish for a Wave and that's my Wave 5 predictions! ( This took me 25 minutes to type so please like this comment!) Thank you!
One last thing. I think for Wave 6 Hammer Bro and Kamek will probably have the most heated discussion over who gets in since both of them were cut in Mario Kart before. If we get Hammer Bro, I can definitely see the other bros getting added as alts (boomerang, fire, ice). Also maybe we could get the Taxi kart, wheels, and glider for Pauline if Nintendo doesn't connect LA Laps to her.
Now that the courses have been revealed, he technically got 7/8 courses correct assuming you lump together both of the videos he made. Los Angeles Laps, Vancouver Velocity, Koopa Cape, Sunset Wilds, Athens Dash, Daisy Cruiser, and the bathroom track he mentioned in this video. The only one he missed was Moonview Highway.
Because of the Nintendo of Canada tweet, the recent Mii Racing Suits teaser and partially the very short gap between the two most recent Nintendo Switch news posts about wave 4's courses, I'm not sure if wave 5 will be releasing in June or July, so I've made two different predictions.

Nice predictions. I'd be happy with any of these tracks and characters and stuff. Though I do have an ambitious new feature, for either wave 5 or 6. A reverse track mode. It's such a neat thing in Tour and it would be cool to have it in MK8D. Will it happen? Probably not. But it would be really cool.

Wow, your predictions are almost completely accurate! Here are the things you didn't get right:
1: Daisy Cruiser, not Mushroom Bridge
2: Koopa Cape was the third track in the Cherry Cup, not Feather.
3: Two cities in the Cherry Cup. LA Laps was wrong as it was the first in the Cherry Cup, and Vancouver was partially correct as it was the second in said cup.
4: No Bowser Castle 3 in Wave 5, was replaced with Moonview Highway
5: The bathroom nitro was the Feather Cup finale, not the Cherry.
I wonder, what characters did you predict?
Man, I wish more DS courses were brought back. Delfino square would be a beautiful course that could fit the lap modification system (like Kalamari desert and Peach Gardens) really well and it’s remixed music would be a banger. And of course, Airship Fortress in the final wave would be freaking epic. Imagine anti gravity spiral down the tower

I’m genuinely surprised you decided to pull in MobBR for this prediction (despite it also appearing in a couple of other predictions), as well as making Piranha Plant Cove be the final course for the Feather Cup. Definitely a unique take in a sea of the same old Wave 5 predictions videos (gets a bit exhausting)
That being the case, I unfortunately don’t see Nintendo changing up Bangkok Rush in the same vein as what they did to Coconut Mall in Wave 2, but maybe I’ll be proven wrong when it does actually occur (small shot but, kinda hope I am wrong about it). Otherwise said, a great return!
Well I think putting Vancouver Velocity in Wave 5 might be a good move to be honest because tour dataminers found that a Rio track is Coming in the middle of July (using ID gap theory) so I think it will be set in the night with the Carnival atmosphere so what I think I think Madrid will take Vancouver's Velocitys place in the Acorn Cup and I think that the Rio track will end up in the Blue Spiny Cup.
Just seems a bit weird to have the only snow city track not release in wave 6
Yes, I know plenty of snow tracks weren’t released in the northern hemisphere winter season either, but it’s a track literally based on Vancouver, Canada, so having that specific snow track release in the summer instead would seem… odd
And, while not as big of a reason at this point… what track’s gonna fill in the “Acorn” part of the Acorn Cup now? Maple Treeway was already swapped to Wave 3, so I assumed Vancouver Velocity would be the “Acorn” part of the Acorn Cup now (but then again, I’m pretty sure a lot of people also assumed Sydney Sprint would be in the Boomerang Cup)
I’m not entirely counting out the possibility, because of how much Nintendo probably knows that people love this track specifically, so I guess they could release it early in Wave 5 anyway regardless of those reason

There’s nothing that suggests the course will be Rio. People are only assuming that, when any city that fits from Paris to Singapore alphabetically.
I do generally agree with this and don't have anything I'd change personally, but I will say it's probably best to not put stock in the DLC roster lining up with the base roster specifically. Not only is there no third party characters they're likely to put on the bottom row, but if this was something they were concerned with Birdie wouldn't be put up next to the likes of the Mario bros and the princess instead of say, Pauline. I do agree if Petey's coming at all it's likely next wave and I feel like Piranha Plant Cove won't be counted as a nitro for exactly the reasons you said, buuuuut I don't think that means they'll necessarily place any extra importance on making sure he's next to King Boo, it'd just be a nice coincidence if anything.

16:29 We know pretty much for certain that the Petey Piranha Cup will be at the very end of the list, after the Mii Cup. We know this because all the cup IDs after the MK8DX drivers are ordered mostly by the internal driver IDs assigned to every driver (except for the Poochy Cup which is slightly out of order but nowhere near as much as if the Petey Piranha Cup were cup 38). We even have a good candidate for cup 38 already, which is an unreleased driver. We don't know what this driver is but we know it's a normal rarity which would indicate it's likely something like a baby or a basic enemy like maybe Paratroopa.
But either way, I think the fact that the cups are ordered by other internal IDs completely disproves cup ID theory, since driver IDs and even the cup IDs themselves seem to simply be ordered how they were developed which has no reason to be connected to the BCP
Wait, sorry, I made a mistake, the normal driver I was talking about is actually for cup 44. Cup ID 38 is actually most likely to be the Captain Toad Cup but the point still stands

Personally, I think that the Wii course for wave 5 will be Toad’s Factory. As it currently stands, Koopa Cape is WAY too similar to Rock Rock Mountain (mountains are made out of rocks, Albert), so what course could Nintendo pull out of Mario Kart Wii in a similar style to DS ur circuit that won’t clash whatsoever, AND will be perfect difficulty-wise? Hmmm… Moonview Highway is a city… we don’t need another circle… and nobody wants ANOTHER Desert course… so that just leaves us with… Toad’s Factory. “But the banner leak has-” That’s just Sky High Sundee.
BTW, there’s two rumors that you should take note of: First one being that mobDK will stand for Daisy Kingdom. Honestly I kinda agree since Donkey Kong feels too easy of an answer to this mystery. (GCN DK MOUNTAIN FOR LIFE!) Second one is that the one nitro we nothing about is probably just another retro course. Which one? IDK, there’s too many to choose from, but if I had to choose one… it would be… 3DS Rosalina’s Ice World. If your prediction is somehow lord please have mercy on me and Vancouver ends up being in wave 5… then what will the Christmas course be? Not much other than this one. (Maybe another Christmas themed course? But then again, people who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it… like with DS ur circuit.)
Ninja Hideaway is my least favorite course BTW, it’s way too unbalanced, sorry not sorry.
Toad’s Factory is not happening, since there has been so sign of the track even hinted for Tour. Every retro track in the Booster Course Pass has had files for Tour.
I personally think Los Angeles Laps is *too* ambitious for the first track in the Feather Cup.

I'm leaning towards having two GCN courses this wave b/c for one thing, only three retros are coming in wave 6 (assuming the leaks are correct), and I have doubts about 2/3 of them being from the same game, notably GCN.
I pushed back Koopa Cape, which contradicts what I just said in a way, but the first 4 waves already have Wii tracks so it wouldn't hurt for them to miss out on one wave.

I'm almost certain we'll get Athens Dash and Los Angeles Laps this wave along with Koopa Cape and Sunset Wilds. The toss ups for me are the third Tour city, the Nitro, the GCN track(s?), and SNES Bowser Castle 3. Starting with the GCN tracks, it's a toss up between Daisy Cruiser and Mushroom Bridge. My gut says Daisy Cruiser, but maybe we could get both this wave, which leads to the Bowser Castle 3 toss up. It's not a toss up as to if we get it or not because I'm positive we will, but I question if it'll be in Wave 5 or get swapped out for a second GCN track. For the Tour city, it's a toss up between Vancouver Velocity and a new city. Vancouver Velocity is just sitting around waiting to be added, but if we get Wave 5 after July 12th, we could get Rio this wave since it's predicted to debut in Tour on July 12th with two variants. The Nitro is a toss up between Piranha Plant Cove and the Bathroom course. The Bathroom course could debut in 8 Deluxe before it gets added to Tour by its predicted date of July 26th, but I have a gut feeling we'll get Piranha Plant Cove since we just got the 3rd variant and we got Singapore and Bangkok in 8 Deluxe shortly after they got their 3rd variants. Hope we get Petey Piranha and Kamek this wave so we can get Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, and Pauline in Wave 6 so Wave 6 can be all Donkey Kong related characters (since Pauline's debut was the Donkey Kong arcade game)

And also I found a pattern with tour nitros. It’s that wave 1,3 have tour originals and waves 2,4 have the tracks labeled as there new nitros so I think deep moray trench is the nitro for next wave due to this even number pattern

Personally i think battle tracks are more possible than what we think, as you said with your cup id theory pauline should debut in the next wave along with petey piranha, petey represents PPC but then pauline soesn't have any track to represent (don't say LA laps, that doesn't fit at all) so the only possibility will be tour's bathroom track but even then that track might come in wave 6, so i guess nintendo could start porting the city battle tracks, new yprk minute b will give pauline a pretty fitting track to debut with and also considering we only have 2 city battle tracks that seems fitting with the amount of waves we have left as of now. If we really got new items bowser shell doesn't seem possible to debut there at all since it is usually unique to the bowser characters, so my bet for a new item will probably be ice flower or super bell or maybe even hammer
Personally I think its plausible that the new city track is here over VV and this goes into major tour Spoilers so it'll be below

According to data mines that have accurately predicted multiple recent tours including the Mario vs Luigi ones including the exact tracks returning that the tour after it is a brand new city with two variants (they don't know which but they put a Rio track as it's called a Summer Tour) And if i recall right two tours after that it is a new nitro (I think MOB DK which is part of what's labeled a Western Tour?)

See it makes more sense to put Piranha Plant Cove in Wave 5 for the reasons already stated but another point I want to add, when you really think about it every nitro in the BCP has blank prefix while technically PPC is not a city it's a route changing track, more than likely Nintendo will label it a Tour to reflect that, now technically Hideaway and Merry were in Tour already before the BCP but again four route changing tracks in the same wave is very unlikely. I'm in the camp of putting Athens in wave 5 rather then wave 6 due the theming, seems strange to me put two relatively simple tracks back-to-back (Bridge & [for Tour standards] Sunset) assuming they'll actually modify it. I'll give my take on the tracks:
Feather: Athens, Sunset, BC3, Cove
Cherry: LA, Bridge, Cape, new Nitro
tuning them to scale more naturally with the difficulty and to avoid thematic overlapping (Cove & Cape) as for the characters, i'm conflicted on Pauline if whether or not the new character will correlate to the new nitro but when you look the CSS the ordering makes way too much since to not put her right next to PG Peach but we'll have to wait and see if Nintendo is going to really shake anything up for the next wave.
Hope the cup id theory is correct tbh because I need Nabbit he's so sick! But not having Kamek would be a massive bummer I wouldn't be mad at this
