Minka Aire San Francisco Ceiling Fan

TL:DR What a beautiful fan!  I required the ceiling fan off marketplace last year for 40 bucks, and it was a money pit, I had to buy a shorter down bridge and a remote and receiver off eBay, in on top of that, it made this grinding noise, which me and my dad was able to fix  by adding more spacers between the bottom piece and the motor and adding a new bolt, and I weirdly fix a problem where it wouldn’t work on low speed by giving hand torque. The AirControl remote is not what it originally would have been controlled by but rather what I prefer that is such a good looking yet ergonomic control. Overall, its quite a unique fan, I can see why it won the 1998 Chicago Athenium Award. This fan is from March 2005.
