Sorry to see you were having low fps issues. Night time does drop fps pretty significantly with all the lights, but day time should not be impacted much. We had planned to add a sleep option but the 0.34 update brought a lot of unexpected changes to some of the core code. It’s taken us longer than expected to work around the new stuff but we wanted to have the mod back out before the holidays. A lot more work to still be done. Best wishes
Yeah features are neat I have been asking for purchasable garages ever since I started the career mode series a year ago! It happens people have been saying running dx12 is better but I will do some testing and see. Maybe I suggest just having an always day option?
@@EctorPlays You can disable the rolling time of day. Rolling time lags a little for everyone. It's a beta, WIP, it's not gonna be perfect. The mod runs great for me, having so much fun! You're portraying the mod as the problem when the mod is NOT the problem.
@@JustinRevs The mod IS the problem though. I can play regular Career or freeroam fine on my system. RLS Career mod + overhaul pack (v1.8), I get 20 FPS.
@piodoesdonuts Like Justin said, This mod is a work in progress but honestly it sound's like a you issue. Other than the night causing slight FPS issues (due too 100's of lights being added) It's been running fine for me and many other people and im on a midrange system. I'm sure Racless and Tristian are communicating about fixes. Whilst you may not personally be able to understand this, Raceless and Tristian Do this in their spare time and have real jobs to focus on so maybe cut them some slack instead of slandering them for trying their hardest to provide good mods. Also, if you have any constructive suggestions instead of being an inconsiderate jerk please feel free to comment them on the many platforms and channels that RLS is featured on.
yeah since the update you get less frames in Vulcan (not on every maschine apperently) than you get on the normal shader starting the game with the mods a few times to let the battle station load everything helped, but in my case it was going from 5fps to 15fps, after starting on the normal shader it went up to 45 at night and 60+ during the day

Coming from someone who watches your RLS career content and also "enjoys" it (well, not anymore now with the newest update lol) I really do hope they would actually optimize more features before putting them out so its playable for everyone indeed.
I'm curious how bad the performance is on a high end machine. Those 8 FPS numbers SHOULD NOT be a thing on your system, just playing Career Mode. They typically put out their updates and consider them "finished", if its good enough for Raceless, they figure its good enough to publish. Sigh. I'll give it a try, and see how it does on a higher setting. Not sure if I'll have time to make a video on it though, currently have IRL priorities.
Watched the whole video, love your content! Ya, the RLS Career Mode is broken, don't really know why. They should optimaize it better if they want to add more features in the coming future.
20 FPS on a 7900x / 7900xtx system using the RLS mod. Mod's broken. And Raceless even says right here, they were rushed to make it, it works fine for him, so he's not worried to fix it. Raceless bro, YOU DON'T RELEASE BROKEN MODS like this with zero testing.
@@EctorPlays It would fix quite a bit, absolutely. I think I was getting 55-60 FPS+ no problems before the cycles really kicked in. Which is weird, I have no issues normally at night or day when switched manually.

If it's not too late, try using the normal render instead of the Vulkan. It's worth a shot.
