For all those who think Hycross will take over the crysta , This is not gonna happen because the way Crysta has built its reputation besides reliability and looks in the market is just out of hycross's league.
That 2.4L diesel engine is far better then the one with hycross, I don't wanna disrespect hycross but when it comes in comparison with crysta definitely crysta is a clear winner.
Petrol prize crysta only handle for rich people
technology is changing bruh. I have Innova 2.5 G 2008,Innova Crysta 2.7 G Petrol Automatic and Innova Crysta 2.4 V Diesel Manual. Innova Crysta is rigid but Hycross is next gen Toyota so it is definitely a better Upgrade than Crysta in terms of Comfort,Ride and Handling and ofcourse Mileage and NVH. 2.4 Diesel is surely a beast and my fav also but this Hycross is surely better than Crysta. Accept the change. Toyota rarely upgrades technology since it does proper research on features for eg in this video Aman mentioned how Toyota's ADAS Outshines other brand's ADAS. Toyota Gives Reliable Features so in coming years Hycross will surely Takeover Innova Crysta or give equal competition to it.
When the OG Innova was replaced with Crysta people had similar opinions. That it had quality issues, that it won't be as reliable, that it is too expensive, that the 18 inch wheels were uncomfortable etc etc. Even when Qualis was replaced people voiced their concerns. Hycross is a great product. It will slowly build its own reputation and legacy too.
Price is also an important criterion and hence hycross is undisputed winner

I was eagerly waiting for the car but The fit & finish and quality leaves a lot to be desired. Quality of interiors seems more to the level of Maruti rather than Toyota

@@The_Tech_Editz - It's not about the hard plastic but the fit and finish. Crysta's plastics although hard but looks to be far solidly built. Go ahead and check it out side by side and you'll feel the difference.

Toyota just launched the VX(O) variant of the Innova Hycross which has more features than the standard VX variant. Can you please make video doing a comparison between the VX(O) and the VX variant? It would be really helpful sir. Hope to await your reply.
If anyone has even 1% brain they will buy the new VX(O) instead of VX. For so much money in the VX you get only 2 airbags, and pay a little more you get VX(O), it’s not even a question.

My pick XUV 700 Petrol which provides much more power at a very lower price.
The Hycross will give you a mileage of around 20 kmpl even if driven hard, while the XUV7OO petrol variant can go down to as low as 5 kmpl if driven hard.

Innova hycross me build quality low krdi hai as compared to innova crysta , Innova crysta k comparison me Innova hycross me thin quality ka metal use kiya hai as compared to solid metal quality used in innova crysta , it shows that Toyota kirloskae motor is also compromising with build quality like other brands which is sad and very disappointing
Innova hycross ki length 5.0 meter honi chahiye thi taaki 3rd row spacious ho aur boot space bhi big mil paati

And I still prefer innova crysta over innova hycross, I know innova crysta has less feature than innova hycross but it is a more practical car with no headpain like "sunroof and its water leakage problem " which is very frequent problem faced by new cars owner having sunroof and panoramic sunroof water leakage problem inside cabin
