i think these pads are only for "little charges" between 75 and 90%, 30 or less the normal charger even with the ipad brick

Thanks for watching. I know tons of people do “little charges” I used to work for a cell phone business and people who little charge seem to have battery’s go bad before people to full charge there battery’s. But yes everything has its place.

you make a good point that many videos dont point out that heat will degrade the battery quicker they're all about fast charging and not mentioning its overheating the batter. every reviewer calls the 5w power a POS and wants apple to include a high watt charger.

Thanks for watching. Yeah to people they mostly want convenience a quicker charger is more convenient. I feel like people these days buy a new phone every year so frying battery isn’t important to them. I still have my iPhone 8plus and it holds a charge longer than 24 hours. A slow cooler charge is best.

7:58 Cellphone reception and other things in the background of your phone might be factors so just be aware of that for these tests.

Thanks for watching. I understand better reception means less strain on hardware/software which in turn means less battery used/faster charge time. I was comparing apples to apples. Phone was charged with same setting and in same location.

did you do this in airplane mode? if not I cant trust results. I always chagge with airplane mode when possible. very fast chargeing

Thanks for watching. No the test was performed not in airplane mode. The phone was charged in the same location in the same plug. All apps were closed out and during the test I did not receive any calls or texts. I do not own a house phone so I cannot sleep etc in airplane mode as I may miss someone calling for an emergency or w/e. So I tested like I charge the phone.

@@GReviewz Does not work that way. Good attempt. Next time, make time to do it correctly for accurate results. Thanks for the video though.

Hmm. I got mine directly through my Verizon store upon purchase of my phone. I believe any micro usb charger will work. However make sure it has a decently high output. The mophie one is 1.5amp output.
