Simply put, if you’re not investing in dividend stocks, you’re doing it wrong.
Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on equities to acquire
I agree, before the pandemic got real serious, I used to handle all my investment and I was pretty good at it, fast forward to post-pandemic and my-portfolio is steady in the red with profit rate down to the lowest, that's when I touched-base with a coach I saw featured on businessweek, who restructured my portfolio and over the last couple months, I've made over $850k from initially $210K

@@gdt7118 Because wealth is again an external thing that you depend on for kind of flexing or external validation. Wealth is for you and your freedom, comfort not for external validation. If you look at wealth for gaining any sort of external validation then that eventually turns into 0-sum status game that gets you nowhere. Competence, intelligence and kindness are internal things that once you master you have control over and external validation might not matter nor affect that much after a certain period of time, And you'll lose nothing flexing on those traits only If you want to(I'm not saying you should flex for those traits but it's just a example.)

I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Quite true! You don't necessarily need to be a flawless investor; all you need to do is seek advice from an expert. I began investing in 2016 and pulled a profit of roughly $900k that same year despite having no prior investment knowledge.

Like many have said, very inspiring. Unfortunately i was never educated financially while i was young, because i suppose tradition then was living pay cheque to pay cheque. But just a couple of years back i ploughed myself into as much investing research as possible and despite the fear I managed to get a good grasp on manageable risk for myself where i can now obtain much better outcomes in my later life financially. I believe it's crucial to emphasise that none of these phases are avoidable and that, if you're ready, one could lead to the next. I find it interesting how newly founded businesses begin by making grandiose claims about their principles when they are still not successful, keeping them removed from reality.

I think is important to underline that non of this steps are avoidable and that one may lead to the next one, if you are ready. I find curious how recently created businesses start by talking big about values while are still not profitable, keeping them away from reality. They try to mimic the outcome of success without taking the pain that comes with it.
Well no. Especially in the beginning most errors are avoidable or people even get trapped in it forever like that "lifestyle inflation". If you have luck being born in a family with some basic financial understanding, you will be more likely to know how to avoid that and don't fall in this trap

im 20 and a fulltime digital artist right now. I recently legally had it recognized as a business! I havent been making crazy money but I live at home and invest every penny I make. so far I've managed to save 60k (Canadian) over the past 2 years of making art and working part time as an art framer on the side, all of it has been put into my retirement plan, tax free funds, high interest savings, and stock. I've also started going to school because I got a bursary that paid for 90% of it, only costing me $1000 for the degree and two full years of classes. I'm going into marketing and entrepreneurship to better my own buissness but also in hopes of getting to work for a company online doing new innovative types of marketing. I really want to buy a rental property and I almost managed to do so but right when I had an opening, the market skyrocketed and I missed my shot. I'm hoping I can get something when things die down though because that type of income would make crazy impacts on my life for sure. I've been studying real-estate in my own time and learning about it from my dad who owns a few properties himself.
