This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

These days, it seems strange. The value of the US dollar is declining due to inflation, but it is increasing when compared to other currencies and commodities like gold and real estate. Because they think it's safer, people are moving to the dollar. I'm concerned that my retirement funds may lose value due to the growing cost of living.

Talked about selling results and gave the example of getting a percentage off of how many people he brings in. Then a bit later he talks about an investment app for you to start investing your money and even gives a discount code. He’s basically making money while giving bits of advice. Nothing wrong with it at all. If you listen to rich people talk you can pretty much see little nuances and formulate your own path. They’re not going to tell you how to get rich…..you have to see it.

Remember, investing money in your skills is also investing. It will ultimately lead you to making more money, which you will then use to buy stocks anyway. This is important especially when you are young because, as you still cannot legally be employed, you want to start accumulating work experience in a highly paid industry as soon as you are of age. Being 27 years old with 5 years of experience in (for example) programming is something you cannot buy once you are 27.
My advice to you is to invest in books, courses, mentoring or higher education for a specific skill. The stock market will be there for you when the time is right.

I’m a 17 year old kid right now, and I’d really appreciate it if you could answer some of my questions.
What is your average salary per year?
Did you go to college/do you think college is worth it?(I currently have a 4.0 GPA(all A’s) and want to become a dental hygienist.
Did you invest(if so, what did you invest in)?
How much do you invest per year?
I guess moral of my questions are, how did you become a millionaire?

What you should be doing instead is teaching people to save up, follow a budget, and activate 50% of the money they set aside on an annual basis.

Ive seen videos refering to income and expenses as a cup with a hole in the bottom and that it doesnt matter how big the cup is if theres a hole in the cup then the cup is never big enough because it will eventually run out. If that hole were closed somehow then a person couldnt ever need to worry about running out. Becoming self sufficient and owning your house for a reasonable price could drastically decrease the size of that hole. Some people even buy large vans and renovate them to be a miniature rv. If i could buy a small house with a little bit of land using cash i would. Idk about other places in the world but where i am housing is the highest expense. The amount i spent on rent alone in the last year would have been enough to buy an acre or 2 of buildable land with utilities installed

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement of about $750k. I want to know: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in these unstable markets, or do I look into alternative sectors?

I’ve found spending what you don’t save rather than saving what I don’t spend has been really helpful for me plus it’s made me make healthier food choices overall because I’m cooking almost everything from scratch I’m also working on a side hustle that will eventually be very low maintenance and it’s letting me put away 1000 a month atm and I only make 17 dollars an hour but I’ve got plans to change that

The best way to find that balance between saving and living is by investing. Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth and smart people will always try to harness any investment opportunity not minding the risks involved.

My bro is a lot associate at home depot, pushing carts. He will be a millionaire when he retires if not a multi millionaire. He's been investing 30% of his income into stocks from when he started. He also bought in way before Sandy hit. Although he doesn't have many bills since he lives at home with my mom which is why he can invest so much at a low income. He has aspergers, so he can't really live on his own. He'll definitely need the money in the future when he retires.

Many of those making above 100k and still living paycheck to paycheck aren't doing so because they spend recklessly. It's just that many of these jobs are in high cost of living areas or highly-taxed places.
It's harder to have a net positive cash flow today when most can't afford to own their own home today.

    • @Kyle29168
      @Kyle29168 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Yes, and sometimes the 6 figure paycheck is actually there to keep people who are doing the job afloat, like truck drivers for example, they can make 6 figures; however, a lot of that money goes into truck maintenance, which is why they get paid that much.

The problem with the income split strategy is that for my needs it takes 72% of my income and the rest I use for my wants, and that doesn't even feel like it's enough. I'm on disability and I only get slightly over $1000 a month counting my snap benefits as well. I can't work because I'm disabled, and it's just not enough.

    • @johnpickk7526

No offence, but if you can't work, and live off of benefits, what is the point in entertaining the idea of becoming a millionaire?
If you saved 50% of your monthly money, it would still take you 166 years to save a million. Find a side hussle you can do, and explore ways to have a cash flow coming in that are suitable

@@johnpickk7526 I have schizophrenia. I know how to program and develop games in Unity. The problem is, I have a really hard time focusing for long periods. Also, when other people are involved, I get paranoid. I made an asset though and put it up on the Unity asset store. I make $20 or $30 every other month off it. The effort it took me to make the thing was way more than the pay I get from it. I've made around $400 over the last 2 years it's been released. It makes me feel like I'm a failure.

Would like to warn everyone right now that it's in the millionaires and billionaires interest to get you to buy s&p 500 stocks atm because we are currently experiancing a top in the stock market before a bad recession so they wanna sell as much as they can right now but in order to sell for over 5k they need lots of new buyers.

I believe that diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.

You should talk to a retirement planner, a certified retirement planner. They will help you diversify that money into different things so in case the stock market blows up or the housing market or whatever you will be OK and will have that money forever and grow it.
