Saying live as long as you can with your parents so you have low bills is wonderful. Did you ever think about the parents, especially the single moms, who are getting used with no regard to their financial situation or their wishes for their life? The longer a nuisance kid is living on their single mom's pocket, the longer that mother has to pay food for two, electricity, heating, hot water and water for two, doubling her bills, let us bet the mother also supports all sorts of necessary and wanted things. Besides, she has to do the cleaning and so on for two for sure too. Nasty! This is a grown man living off his single mother! Those 400 dollars he is earning is not even enough to pay his share of the bills and food. He should move out and give his mother a chance to live easier before she dies. Let's bet she has debt to pay which he feels not responsible for! I have seen it too many times!

Next time pick a single mother with small kids who is actually working and hand her money and knowledge to give her and her child/ren a better life!

I have a question. Is it better to invest my capital or deploy it in my business for max efficiency. my business is diversified ag so I am a commercial beekeeper that makes honey, queens , nucs and bee products to sell. I am currently designing a market farm and my end goal is to make 300k to buy more land.

Casino is gambling which is the lotto. Just like roulette. Bitcoin is probably like roulette. However the other investments are far more stable than the casino. If you have 100 and you put all 100 in it, you will lose it all at the end of a Poker game but in investments? You will gain more if you do not sell it as it falls because your life depends on it. These are extra funds after all. Why spend 1000 on a coat that is flashy and serve no purposes for your body (keeping warm) (which loses its value most of the time) when you can invest it and earn 2000 etc etc in the near future?

But thgis year i decided ill start investing, i had a backup founds of 2K and decided to invest half of that (1K) at the beginning of february, and 2 weeks before that (right now) i made 29.
Two days ago, i told my mom i was going to do this, and she started shouting at me to leave that, that it was dangerous and it was the same as gambling with my money...

As a teacher, the part where he said that he went off school and felt lost really hit different because I've heard that so many times as a teacher. I always try to find ways to motivate, create and make my students shine as much as I can, because I know the world outside is so full of uncertainty and scary things, and let's be honest, it'll be hard to get as much help with life as you get in school.
Please, if you're a student, keep learning as much as you can after you leave school, don't stay with the basics, don't idle on knowledge, be bold, be brave, take risks and always, be better than your yesterday's self!
And if you are an adult, please, don't surrender, life ends only when you drop your arms and stop trying!

It took me many years, and many failed interviews to learn that asking questions at the end of an interview is KEY.
Furthermore, patience, networking, and looking for company rotations/career internships can go a very long way in your success with time.
About a year ago I asked the following at the end of an interview: "Based on your knowledge of my qualifications and the results we've produced on XYZ projects, are there any concerns you have in regard of me being a good fit for this position?"
Answer: "We should have you writing the interview questions, and no I have no concerns."
Moral of the story... don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. A company would much rather spend time and resources on someone with a positive attitude that is willing to learn and grow.

I would though if I'm his shoes ask if the offer would still be on the table once I'm able to pay for the lessons and tests though.

Hey, people get stuck in that lost rut for much longer so be thankful. I could tell a very similar story that is already 10 years longer, so those 10 years will go by, for all of us. I'm thankful it's not 10 years from now that I'm realizing this as well. I'm all alone, other than a faithful 4 legged companion on my adventure, but at least the adventure has begun. Can't invest much right now, not being homeless is more important, but can slowly invest a little and gain the knowledge when it's time for bigger things. Thanks for the tips.

"Money doesnt buy happiness" well that depends on how you look at it. It cant buy the emotion happiness, but it for sure can buy things and can be used to make you happy. If I can help my family out financially that makes me happy. If I could buy my dad his dream car that would make me happy, if I could buy my mom a house that would make me happy. If I could buy myself a nice house and car that would make me happy. Money doesnt buy happiness, but having money for sure can make you happy in a way

i have one very wealthy family member who has talked about this a lot saying it just brings you "different" worries, your personal finances are never an issue but you get a lot of hints/pushing and sometimes out right demands from others for money and the feeling grows in you that you wonder if anyone really cares or they just putting on an act for the cash. That itself could be a very sorry way to live. Perhaps its best to have enough not to personally worry and help a little but not so much that you start looking like a wallet to those you know.

Thats how you look at it now, untill you can buy anything in life, and you don't have 'a goal' to life for, no real friends that like you as a person, just for the money.
When everything is possible, you will quickly loose the joy of things, and with that the happiness, people sometimes need goals and struggles in order to be happy.

I can't believe like 400,000 viewers didn't make it to this third video. This God sent man is actually holding you by the hand and showing you how and what to invest in, everything is right here, you don't have to watch hundreds of videos to know how and what to invest in and yet 400,000 viewers didn't make it to this point?!. Well, all I can say is wow. Well, contents like this, age like fine wine.

Really kool what you've done, here... I've always been an advocate of helping those that do have potential to reach their aspirations, and also trying to inspire those who have "buried" potential to look inward and realize their potential, and to then reimagine innovative ways to implement various strategies by which they might leverage that potential.
IMHO you should make Tom a recurring guest on your channel in various roles (subject, assistant, special guest co-host) over the course of the next year; both to add his outside POV and add a bit of flavor and brief commentary to what you bring to us (you two seem to have a great chemistry that I enjoy, and I'm sure others will agree), as well as to give him greater exposure to grow his online presence (later to be transformed into his own "brand," including his own youtube channel and etc). This is clearly a win-win situation for the both of you (not to mention we, your viewers :) ), and should therfore be a no-brainer for the BOTH OF YOU...!!
I look forward to seeing how you implement my suggestions, though I would honestly be surprised if you weren't already on the same page (and if I'm right, you've probably already come to these conclusions and more, likely having already developed plans for integrating these ideas).
In either case, I've enjoyed the 3 videos from your channel that I've seen so far (serially, in case you were wondering lol), and I know that I'll enjoy the next, thanks to my having subscribed and clicked the bell notification 😀.
    Keep up the good work...!!
    Respectfully yours from The States,
    Jay
PS: Excellent inclusion of the notion of those who are currently employed being significantly more attractive to potential employers...!! #SO TRUE

Hey Tom, bit of advice for ya. Be FEARLESS! Last year I moved to Germany from New Zealand amoungst the Pandemic as soon as the borders were opened (my gf is German and we just had a baby - he was born there, I was still in NZ and not allowed to enter) I quit my job with my 2 weeks notice, sold everything I could etc, and got on that plane and left. I didnt have a job lined up, didnt know the language and only knew my girlfriend, so I was absolutely jumping into it blind. It took me 5 months to get a proper job. I applied for Numerous jobs, I did jobs for people in my neighborhood, I made connections through these people to find some part time work until I eventually found an employer who would take me on. I wasn't qualified for the position, but had the experience and referees to back it and willing to learn. I now earn 40% more than I was in my home country and happier than ever. Be fearless my friend, find that motivation and never give up, what have you got to lose.

I just found your channel and I love it! I just started this journey and my first investment is going to be Dogecoin. A few hours ago durring a strong downswing at $.51 per share down from $.60 per share in anticipation of this weekends Saturday Night Live episode with Elon Musk. Its already back up to $.60 where I could sell for a $176 profit in just a few hours. I'm holding out for this weekend in case Musk mentions Dogecoin which was responsible for its last 1300% spike over the course of one month in April last month. I'll let you know how it goes. I am hoping if it happens it will peek at around $1+ per share so I can just about double my investment, put the rest back in savings and have $1000 to start my day trading portfolio. Afterwards i'm going to stick to traditional stocks with a limit of 3 trades every five days until I have my $25,000 minimum balance so I am not investing in any volatile stocks until I have the capital to truly day trade.

I would love to see a video on some of the more esoteric ways you can invest which are not exactly for beginners. A video on options and futures would be great! But I would like to see it performed in real time. Just having something explained to me, like most videos are, had never been how I learn. I always need to see something done to understand it.
Also in a previous video you mentioned Roth IRAs. I wouldn't mind a video explaining the differences between a traditional IRA, Roth IRA, and a 401K.
Thank you in any case for sharing you're knowledge in an enjoyable and informative format. Look forward to more!
