      @@CleetjeLovesHusky Well whether she gets support from the state could depend on whether the kids actually ever went into foster care. JJ called it fostering but the plaintiff just said she and her gf took custody because otherwise the kids were going to be separated into foster care. My cousin did the same when the state was threatening to take her niece because of her sister’s neglect. In foster care the state has legal custody of the children not the foster parents.

I do find it odd that when JJ asked the mom what else happened in May, it didn't ring alarm bells that it's her daughters birthday. I also found it interesting that the mom immediately threw a fit when JJ told her it didn't add up and she was done. She blamed her daughter for JJ's ruling. The daughter didn't hardly speak.

      Well, she must not be that narcissistic to give her a car to use? Or so Judge Judy claims she gave her a car as a present. I guess we can't even let people use our cars anymore? They will not be responsible. I think narcissistic is a term that is really getting over used on the internet lately. For somebody we hardly know. Isn't there a lot of people growing up that don't get a car to even use? That they have to flat out earn it? Now, I understand that doesn't give the right for a parent to gloat about it. I'm just guessing but if their relationship is so bad, why accept a car? It reminds me of another case Judge Judy had, and the foster kid wanted everything that was suppose to be shared with the others. But everyone sided with the foster kid although in the comments. The fact the remains, they are still fighting over worldly things. And what's worst, it's a video game system. With a car you can at least say , oh she is using to get it to work. As an adult you are eventually going to buy video game systems, games, etc. So why not give it a rest? If you give a car away, sign the title!

      @@supalognon @supalognon A car is more than just a gift. It's a responsibility. It should be treated as such. If it was truly a gift disguised as something that has evil intentions behind it. There would be no need for the daughter to even borrow the car or accept without getting that title. And upon her excitement (allegedly) it was a gift. She didn't get the title of the car in her name. She got a nice benefit. To say this was an actual gift is beyond me. I just can't imagine driving a car that it said to be a gift (yet I know the title is not in my name). Judge Judy just acts like this is just a random event when a mother gives a daughter a standard gift (And I kind of feel that's where the disconnect people are not getting in the comment section -Judge Judy said so! She is never wrong!). It's a responsibility, there has to be legal document to prove you are the true owner of the car. Otherwise you are just borrowing it! Period. That's the hard evidence.
      I don't believe the story that the car was a gift. Especially at the end of the show, where the daughter is like, "I'm not going to make amends to this, people can see right through my mother." That implies that there is bad blood between them and the car was never accepted. There was an advantage that the daughter took so she didn't have to take any burden to have the responsibility of the owner of the car. Took LESS BURDEN of the responsibly of true ownership, took less risk, it benefited her not to pay for her own car. Something bad happens to the car, no responsibility on her. Look! What if the car started malfunctioning? Since she is not the owner of the car. She would go crawling to mom to have the car fixed. Mother would probably offer to fix it since it's still her car, and she doesn't want the car to sit around. Now if the daughter is the owner of the car. She knows she is 100% responsible of getting that car fixed.

      I agree that the home should be checked on to look into what the money is being spent on, the money that is for the children's upbringing.

    • @deegee2416
      @deegee2416 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shendisackett When you get a car, you get the title of the car! That's how it works (most times) (otherwise it's just like borrowing). And why is the daughter accepting the car? If everyone is saying the mother is such a evil person? Oh is the mother a better person if she was available to afford a much more expensive car? Oh sorry it was a cheap car! She choose a busy line of work I would assume and it's not about all the money. It's about the responsibility that has her hands full. If people assume that's narcissistic or an assumption of evil intent, bring the proof!

    • @shendisackett
      @shendisackett ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@deegee2416 why do you expect a child to say no to a birthday present? That is very weird and makes no sense, I have never heard anybody suggest that before. Any child would accept a gift from a parent. Yes you normally have the car in your name, but her Mum clearly didn't do the paperwork. She even admitted in her long speech she was giving her daughter the car for her birthday. I never said the mother was evil I just said she got caught out in her own lies as she couldn't keep them straight. That happens all the time on this show people start lying then forget what they just said, as they're making it up as they go along, and if you listen they usually trip themselves up and admit the truth just like she did. I'm suspicious of her as a foster parent because of how she treats her biological child and because she immediately used the fact she looks after those 6 kids with her girlfriend to try to get sympathy with the fake tears. A good parent doesn't drag their child to court like this, they deal with it at home. I mentioned it was an old car because you kept on in the comments about some kids don't get to use a car which is totally irrelevant, I don't know why you keep saying it. Her Mum gave her the car as a present doesn't matter the age or condition she gave it to her so you can't then sue her for it. As the OP said she should just be grateful her daughter didn't get hurt.

She was immediately trying to avoid acknowledging it was her birthday. Then she LITERALLY said she will wait until her birthday to give her a car. What's wrong with that woman, does she think that anyone listening to her is just misunderstanding her when she speaks English? Those are the words coming out of her mouth and then blamed JJ. If she doesn't know how to communicate that's her own fault and of course she will always loose if her stories are never consistent.
