Some Furball Crystal Gems have Stars on their outfits to show their alliance; Homeworld gems have diamonds.
Lapis and Peridot had diamonds because the last time they each reformed, they were still allied to HW. But now they're gonna reform as CGs, which means not only new outfits but also STARS.

davidevgen I think the only other time I have cried that much (in Steven universe) was the Episode where Steven went into his mom’s room and hung out with her.

I also cried a lot in that part LAPIS IS THE BEST after the garnet of course

But this one was your best :P heck even Harland Dante completely broke down on the wedding part. i didnt move an inch with my eyes glued to the tv screen tingling all over! and my mouth was either hanging open or smiling the whole time. hands down the best episode of SU by far XD good gosh i wonder would could top that!

An interesting little nugget to look out for (no pun intended.)
When Ruby and Sapphire put on their rings. They put it on the hand where their gems are. Which made me think "who needs to put a jewel on the rings, when the couple already HAS jewels on their hands to compliment them"

Blue's voice actress is normally amazing, but holy crap this episode was just on a whole another level!
I love how when Steven is happy and dancing around, you can detect a very slight floating-power at the top of all his jumps. Some cartoons do this for the cartoony physics, but with Steven Universe, it only happened once he mastered the floating. I love the attention to detail. Not to mention it's terrifyingly cute.
Also, Steven took the time to actually register as a priest (or whatever equivalent) for the wedding.

sorry for the capslock on number 1, i just kinda went ham. skip to number 11 and then 16 because holy shit those are concerning as all hell!
1) THAT MUSICAL OPENING IS A GOD DAM TEASE! ITS A REFERENCE TO MULTIPLE MUSICALS, AND EVEN FEELS LIKE IT TAKES FROM "It Feels like Christmas" FROM THE GOD DAM MUPPETS, AND I CANT BE ANY MORE HAPPIER ABOUT IT, AND IT STILL KEPT THE STEVEN UNIVERSE BUT ITS A TEASE BECAUSE THE WAY THEY OPENED WITH IT AND THE TONE OF THE MUSICAL MADE IT FEEL LIKE THE ENTIRE EPISODE WAS GONNA BE ONE LONG MUSICAL, JUST LIKE IN "Mr Greg".
2) notice saphire coverd her face BEFORE ruby walked into the room. xD just cute
3) bismuth better dam well use that armor as her main set in the future, holy shit

4) im a lil bothered by who wore the suit and who wore the dress NOT BECAUSE OF STEREOTYPES, but because Ruby was the Ruby Rider, and in the comic, the Lonesome Cowboy, who ruby was copying, was in a suit. kinda thought they would continue with that a little. but i still love the dress (was kinda afraid the clothes would rip after they fused. BUT ITS OK, THE FUSION DRESS IS AMAZING AND I HOPE PEOPLE USE THAT IN REAL WEDDINGS!
5)dont...dont ship them. jamie is like, barely in his 20s i think. mayor dewie is closing in on 40 and has a teenage son. please lets not go into "age doesnt matter" here xD
6) holy shit i didnt notice peri and onion before (I SMELL AN EPISODE CONCEPT! people theorize onion and his dad are not fully human if you catch my drift. makes sence given that eath isnt the only organic life supporting planet, and he seems so attatched to steven, maybe because they are both only half human and half alien?!)
7) WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT RONALDO AND BISMUTH TALKING ABOUT ARMOR! i realy want a Ronaldo episode where he gets his act together a bit (because right now he's dale gribble levels of spacey, but less respectable, and i realy hope bismuth helps him achieve his fantasies and realize his limits, and his place in the cast a little more. he deserves it
"I feel bad for blue diamond every moment' she got hit ,i started to cry.!".. She was angry and grieving over pinks death.. Its like you can't talk you just blank off..😢❤️💄🌹

I love how Pearl and Kiki really did maintain their friendship.
Is kiki the first human Pearl ever trusted and liked as a friend? I think so, and I'm glad that they always have them interacting. Cause Kiki is relatively minor compared to every other human character yet keeping the consistent detail of Pearl and Kiki being friends is amazeballs

And most of all, Blue and Yellow becoming (momentarily) docile towards Steven and Co. I still hold on to the belief that the two of them MAY become allies of Steven's.
Because like he said; they, through his heritage of Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz, are his family

I loved this episode so mutch I got so emotional when Lapis returned and I loved the fact that Lapis and the Cluster showed that they were able to stand against the diamonds and they weren't afraid to show that they are crystal gems.
I guess Steven will have to start calling them Auntie Yellow and Auntie Blue.

I think the white light affects the mind, the yellow light affects the physical form, the blue light affects emotions, and the pink light affects the gemstone. So if pink joined in on the corruption, they most likely would’ve been shattered.

I think my favorite part of all in this (AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING CAUSE EVERYTHING IS GREAT) is just the fact that Blue and Yellow are attacking because of *Pink* Not just to get back at the rebelling gems, not just cause of the cluster, because of their loved one. Blue's first words are about how this is Pink's world, and their presence is an insult to her. Even Yellow was hurt at Steven saying he was Pink Diamond. She was _insulted_ that someone she thought killed Pink was claiming to be her, and was infuriated. It just touches my heart how much they care for Pink.
