    Just purchased a 2017 Deere 333G, very much appreciate the thorough walkthrough! Are there many differences between 2017 & 2018?

    • @WesternEquipment

      Well I'm glad I could help and thank you for watching! As far as differences between the two years, I would have to look into this a little more but good question.

  • @brendanperry6429

    I'm looking at this model to purchase. While surfing, I ran across this "John Deere 333G Issue" video. I am going to use mine for rocks, trees (grapple attachment & snow removal; mostly. So, are you aware of this "pin covering problem" this gentleman is having; if so, has it been addressed at the factory? Are the newer models coming with a solution already built into place? Apparently, Deere is not alone, in regard to this problem; CAT & Bobcat share the same problem as well.

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not sure if this has been addressed, but I did go watch the video to see exactly what you were talking about. I will see if I can find any info on this. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

    • @WesternEquipment

    I have question about a 2022 317g. Does JD offer a forestry package? If so, is it needed to run a low flow brush cutter? Can high flow be added to the unit after the original purchase & if so, what's the ballpark price?? Thank you! Merry Christmas!!

    Very informative good video. I’m starting up my company and to invest in a good well rounded skidsteer that accommodate snow removal and landscaping. What would you recommend ?

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Being in snow I could definitely look into a track machine like the one shown. Depending on how much HP you need you may be able to go a bit smaller to avoid some weight for the landscaping side of things. But I would recommend looking John Deere's full like of track style skid steers to see what you feel fits your needs best!

    • @cjjames7035
      @cjjames7035 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      look into ASV track loaders. Nothing handles better in wet, snow and mud. I have actually never seen a Deere out perform tak"s in a work environment. But honestly service is the number one thing you want. All these machines perform similar its who will take care of you the best.

    • @WesternEquipment

      Unfortunately, in our area we are blessed with very few trees and rarely have customers that require that package on their machine. I do know that it includes a severe duty door and some other added protection but I will do my best to get the full details of this package.

    only things i don't like is the DEF fluid and the lack of key... how are you supposed to lock the cab up?

    • @gregadams2340
      @gregadams2340 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      unfortunitly there is no getting around DEF! The JD uses much less DEF than other brands. Every machine still comes with a key to lock the door. every machine also comes with the ability to add a code to start the machine and several prompts to do so. It is much better than just a key.

      Power

    • @gregadams2340
      @gregadams2340 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      The G series is much more powerful than the E series. Booms, quick tatch, power tatch has been rerun, heated seat, rear view cameras, bigger drives, HF is at 41gpm, LED lighting from the factory + side lights, better side panels, better rear top door, bigger cylinders, removeable side windows with no tools required, boom performance package, 4 way switchable controls available, better front entry, heavier, cooling system went from a plenum V to a more efficient way to cool, it does use DEF but not near as much as the competition and it doesn't have to regenerate as often as just a DPF machine, fill fuel easier, coolant bottle easier to see, JD Link telematics is available, you can raise the booms with the cab down, etc

    my Hydraulic is locked and machine wont move at all. do you know how i clear the lock button?

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      there are man things that can keep your hydraulics locked. Door must be firmly shut, lap bar must be down and then you should be able to push the hydraulic lock button once the machine is started. Also make sure to push the park brake button to take it out of park. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    Swing open doors are a no no. Slide up is best (Kubota, Tach). You can't see much out of a 333. Electric vs Hydro quick tach, best to see arms to verify lock, less issues with hydro. 333 can lift some weight though. You can't buy more expensive than a Deere, but you can buy better.

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @Dirtybird51077 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Doesn’t look like it has a self leveling bucket. When loading trucks that is a must. I hate the door also. Sometimes you might need to have the door open while working. I’ve run an older 323 that was a really nice machine just had the few issues that bothered me. It just couldn’t compete with the cat except for the price.

    • @WesternEquipment

      @@WesternEquipment thanks for response. If I may I have a couple of quick questions. One is about the keypad method of starting the machine. Since it doesn't use a key can you lock the cab? Does the cab have it's own key? It must right? Also there's a guy out on youtube claiming that the 333g isn't very responsive in terms of joysticks even after all adjustments are made. He was comparing to bobcat. True or BS?

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it does come with keys for the door. And from my experience it is very responsive. I have had multiple customers since I have been with Western Equipment that have switched from Bobcat to John Deere and are more than satisfied with responsiveness, serviceability, and the parts and service they can receive quickly.

    I better get a free Deere outfit for how much they want for these things. But looking into one for landscaping for boulder work and other landscape construction work. Our heaviest pallet weighs around 3k lbs. We also move stones ranging from 300-700lbs for walls. Would you recommend the 333g? Also would work well for grade work and other dirt work, then once we get into it. Snow removal.
