Great haul! I’ve never seen a goodwill like that before either.
Thanks!!
Oh my goodness! I love the Klimt journal!! Great find
Thank you!! I couldn't resist it!!
25cents for the illustrated poems of poe?! Such a steal! I hope we have goodwill outlet here in the Philippines. :") i love thrift shops. :) i hope the CoViD will be over so I can watch you roam around bookshops just like how you did before. TC!
RIGHT!? I love them, too! and I really hope things calm down so I can continue my book shopping adventures
Love your book shopping video's ❤️❤️
Thank you, lovely!!
I find so many great books at Goodwill. I haven't been to the outlet but the individual stores have been great for me.
Same here! I need to go more often!
I actually manage at a Goodwill store! We pretty much send out all of the unwanted/unsellable products to outlet as well as goods that did not sell at store level within a certain time frame. So we send out a lot of good books that did not sell, and clothes. Sometimes I am surprised at the amazing stuff that simply does not sell at store level, I always think, "Well at least someone at the outlet is gonna get it for a good price" haha. I would only suggest that next time you wear gloves dearest! We are very strict about not getting glass in the other things but sometimes it slips through, and sometimes some of the stuff we get donated is extremely icky.
Anyways, sorry for the novel. Loved the video! 😊
I didn't know that! I kind of figured it might be stuff that didn't sell at the regular stores, but wasn't sure. It's shocking how many good things you can find! Thank you for the gloves tip! I actually went twice and wore gloves the second time because I noticed some very dirty stuff in there XD
I like novels!! No need to apologize! Always good to chat with you
Great video!! I dont think ive seen an outlet like that here in Australia but thats definitely interesting. We used to sell a bunch of those journals at the bookstore I used to work at. So cute :)
Hope you are doing well!!
Thank you, lovely! I hope you're doing well, too
Then She Was Gone looks goooooddddd
Right?? In great condition, too!
Yes The Author is Lisa Jewel she wrote the book The Family Upstairs
Wow! That Edgar Allan Poe book is really great bargain! What a beautiful book📚😍
It really is!! So glad I found it!
The Goodwill Outlet sounds so interesting, I'll definitely have to see if I can find one in my area!
You should! Even if you don't go often, it's a cool experience!
I need to get back to my goodwill and see what I can find! I have taken things to donate since they have re-opened but have yet to go in shopping haha
Same! This was my first time since the quarantine. I miss thrift shopping ;_;
I didn't like The Book Thief at all, although I usually really enjoy historical WWII themed books. No idea why it would be popular at all, I can think of many better ones. Found your video because I was looking up how to find books through Goodwill Outlet. Hope you update shopping for books there and how much, etc. I think it's by the pound?
Hello from a new subscriber!! I've only read the first 2 books in the WondLa trilogy, but I've enjoyed what I read from it so far! This is especially considering I don't read sci-fi often. WondLa feels very unique, and although I think it's technically under middle grade, it doesn't really feel """immature""" or anything :)
Hello hello! Welcome to the family! Thank you for letting me know! I might go ahead and give it a shot if you enjoyed it and didn't feel like it was immature.
So... I did NOT enjoy *The Book Thief* 😞 and I usually LOVE WWII Historical Fiction. But this book just bored me to death 🥱 I listened to the audiobook and it very well could have just been the gentleman reading who just didn't appeal to my sensibilities... Who knows... If I had a physical copy, I'd go leave it at Goodwill too 🤭
On a positive note... I'm currently listening to *Then She Was Gone* and quite enjoying. This is my 3rd Lisa Jewell book this year and I'm really liking her writing.
Hi, I read that you like Ww2 books, so can you recommend me like three? I am currently loving the topic!
Fantasy and Felines *The Nightingale* by Kristen Hannah:.. *All the Light We Cannot See* by Anthony Doerr... And a Middle Grade book I recently read that I found quite intriguing, *Making Bombs for Hitler* by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch... It’s a quick, easy read, but talked about an aspect of WWII I had no idea occurred .
Wow! I'll be curious to see if I end up liking it or not. I have a hard time with slow books D: But at least Then She Was Gone is now on my shelves!
I love EON!!!
Damn, That edgar Allan Poe book is so pretty with the illustrations :O And just 25cents. Sure was a great find :D I wish my thrift shops had more books like that xD Great video :D
Thank you!! I know, I felt so lucky when I saw how good the condition was
Hiiiii!
Hi, dearest
Is that the Kansas City location?
