Samantha Shannon, girl, you have quickly vaulted onto my list of favorite authors. I ravenously read the Bone Season series, then moved on to Priory, & was not-so-patiently waiting for A Day of Fallen Night. SO WORTH THE WAIT. It's a massive read. I got so sucked in that sometimes I forgot to make food for my daughter - - - not ashamed of that & anyone who has read it will 100% understand. It was 850+ pages of a world I wish I could exist in. I wish my daughter could exist there in that universe that values & respects women. Kudos, Ms. Shannon. You have a lifelong fan in me & I look forward to whatever you write next.
Absolutely obsessed with both POTOT and ADOFN-- I thought both books ended too soon. Selfishly, I would have loved another 200+ pages! Hoping there's a prequel to the prequel in the works? 🙂
