Just finished watching the video of you taking about how you shouldn't try to find your style lol
It's best not to focus on trying to find your style when you are a beginner. But it's best to keep these things in mind as they will help you build your art (or style as it's commonly known these days)

Obviously since your thick head can't draw and create drawings from your blank small mind with no creativity...we don't need copy cat artists we need skilled orignlal creative artists who brings new things everyday

aslso "started" this is Clear indication that i didnt continue this. as welll as i was only doing this style wise you bould even see my old DA acccount and see it didnt last long and i credditid what style i was drawing in.
also pehaps you shouldnt be agressively replying to people it dosnt reflect on you that well. specialy scince it was mosly personal attacking on someone you have probily just found out existed and without provoction.

This is like, THE most helpful advice I’ve ever gotten. It’s like I “get” it now. I’m not a beginner artist by any stretch, my style is just inconsistent for sure. I haven’t settled into a style yet. But like, this video has laid it out so plainly that I feel like I can do it now.

Also needed to hear all of this - been struggling to find my style since I started drawing almost two years ago. And I have this fear of drawing with no reference but after this video I'm going to try because I do want to find out what comes out of it!!! I feel inspired!!!
I did feel icky copying copying others' works so I stopped and started drawing from pictures instead, but it comes out too realistic and not as animated as I want it to be...

Hey Kesh! My style of drawing is absolutely different from yours but I love to follow your work. It inspires me in its own ways and not to mention, for great videos like this which I shared with couple of my artist friends as well. I really liked your idea of "finding your tribe" and how as a beginning I can start making artworks that I know will fit the tribe. Wonderfully concise video! (Unlike this comment :p )

1. Find your elements (what ideas and aspects you like drawing)
2. Find your tribe (find a community of artists that you get inspired by, and follow their art style)
3. Copy other artists (not to plagiarize from them, but to learn from their styles and art to find your own style, similar to how you learn to play piano by learning to play other songs before possibly making your own song)
4. Steal like an artist (steal the philosophy of the art, not plagiarizing, and learn the underlying thinking of the art, and use it to find your style)
5. Put 'you' in your art (discover who you are, your emotions, and similar things, and incorporate it into your art)
