Start was not the greatest, heard some weird stuff going on in the high brass in the start.
Again, high brass but they aren’t matching intonation, some people are not matching the same style, cut off was not as together as it could’ve been.
They can definitely improve tons. I wouldn’t say that you guys are bad since this IS a hs band, but there are definitely reasons I think you guys didn’t outplay CC.

This was at a summer camp at western Carolina university. Crown uses there facilities during the season so there’s a crossover between the 4 day summer camp and crown. We were giving about an 30m in total to look at the parts and then when they brought us outside we were supposed to have it memorized. There’s other things we do at their summer camp but playing crowns opener for them is just a little gag they do. It’s a completely random group of high schoolers of extremely varying skill levels.
