Many people are increasingly struggling to secure a comfortable retirement. Low-paying jobs, rising inflation, and soaring rents make it difficult to save. On top of that, middle-class Americans are finding it harder than ever to afford a home, leaving them without a stable place to retire.
The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.
More reason I enjoy my day to day market decisions is that i'm being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to
talking about coaching, do u consider anyone worthy for recommendations? I have about 80k to taste the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount... thanks
I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, ¨Melissa Terri Swayne turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.
With inflation soaring again, I’m really concerned about the future. It's becoming clear that many things the middle class takes for granted, like housing, healthcare, and even daily essentials, will be out of reach by 2025. Anyone else feeling like their current financial strategy is no longer enough?
Absolutely! Things are getting harder for the middle class, especially with the rising costs of living. I'm trying to figure out how to adjust my investments, but it feels like I’m not getting the returns I need to keep up. If I want to retire comfortably in a few years, I think I need help from a professional.
Agreed, I've always delegated my excesses to an advisor, since suffering major portfolio loss early 2020, amid covid outbreak. I'm now semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours a week, with barely 25% short of my $2.7m retirement goal after subsequent investments to date
Thanks for sharing your experience! I've been managing my portfolio myself, but it's not working out. Do you have any recommendations for a good investment advisor? I could really use some help
My CFA, Joseph Nick Cahill, is a renowned figure in his field. I recommend researching his name online; you'll find all his credentials and everything you need to work with a reliable professional. With many years of experience, he is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I really needed it. I looked him up on Google and explored his website; he has an impressive background in investments. I've sent him an email, and I hope to hear back from him soon
Most Americans have no clue about the markets. They are all tripple long and don't even realize it. 1. Their job 2. Their 401k / IRA 3. Real Estate. When the bubbles pop all 3 of those things are at risk. Simple as that. Rich people know this.... they are hedging... through hedge funds. It costs them about 6% a year to do this. Those that aren't rich are not hedge and are at great risk in the bubble of all bubbles with the debt at all time highs. A collapse has began!!!
So how exactly can we guard against the coming financial reset Like what are really the best strategies to make our portfolio recession proof against the incoming financial reset? I'm very worried about my $110k stock portfolio.
@@wmwoods-l4f Knowledgeable Investors know where and how to put money during a crisis in order to reduce risk and maximize returns. See a market strategist with experience if you are unable to manage these market conditions.
I agree, having the right plan is priceless. My portfolio is well-suited for any market and recently doubled since early last year. My CFP and I are aiming for a seven-figure goal, which might take another year to achieve.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
Annette Christine Conte’ is the licensed FA I use. Just google the name. You’d find necessary details to work with and set up an appointment. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
I am middle class and I can still afford to buy things I want, not necessarily need. However, I will NOT be helping this economy until inflation is dealt with by the government. I won't be shopping. I plan to look poor when I go out. I don't care, besides I am comfortable wearing old clothing. I won't be planning any vacations, going out to dinner, movies, shopping, upgrading my 4 year iPhone. I also purchased a very economical Toyota Camry over a luxury brand. I see many Americans following the same mindset. I will limit the sales tax the government will receive from me.
You can do that but it doesn't matter in the end. When there's not enough tax revenues, they'll simply raise taxes on the thing that you continue to buy. My property taxes are near double today what they were in 2019. 2020 was the excuse every state, county, and city or town needed to spend like drunken sailors. Now those federal handout funds are done flowing, where you do you think they're going to come for that revenue now?
I’m worried about retirement planning and I want to ensure a comfortable future. I’ve worked hard my entire life and I want to enjoy the fruits of my labor without financial stress. I’m really concerned about whether I’ve saved enough and invested wisely.
I tried working full time when the 3 kids were young. My wages put us in a higher tax bracket, so we actually didn't show much profit for the effort. Then the cost of daycare for the youngest. Then the chaos in the evenings as we helped kids with homework, made dinner, did laundry, had kids' baths, etc. One night as I was washing the kitchen floor at midnight, we decided it wasn't worth the extra money. With good budgeting, living in a 1500 sq ft house, home cooking, it worked out. And the kids had much less stressed parents.
Today, this is the downside of living above your means. You can't enjoy your life. I didn't know you have a nice house and a nice car. You're basically never enjoying it because you're too busy. Working hard to maintain it that don't make sense to me. Which is another reason why I chose to downsize and live. Alternatively a lot smaller so I can enjoy my campground. Enjoy my legal base and traveled and enjoyed. Life is short people get out and enjoy life. Don't kill yourself until you're 65 years old. It's not worth it's guys.
Nope, check the pulse of the world. The haves don’t plan to lose any margin - wealth is concentrated in the upper 2%. Any catastrophes, they guard their bottom line. Layoffs, wage freeze (basically), off shoring you name it……
For those saying 'live within your means'... what happens when healthy food, seeing a doctor when you need to, buying prescriptions, having a reliable vehicle to get to work, rent, utilities, fuel, and a phone (any phone) becomes no longer within your 'means'. These are basic modern necessities... not things that are ridiculously outside of reason.
But none of that is the case especially at the income numbers provided in the video like oh 54 grand to 104 grand a year. Yeah, if you cannot afford any of the above then you're shopping the store and have a money handling problem. Also those whom make that kinda income also have decent medical insurance from their work and have the cheapest co-pays on drugs and doctors visits! Because those jobs are the only ones that actually offer that kinda coverage! Everyone else doesn't get actual insurance via the job they're simply referred to the government exchange via Obamacare with $9,000 deductibles. So next time you hear the employer's whine their ass off that Obamacare cost them XX money they're lying and they're full of shit because the only thing they do is literally send you to the Obamacare exchange website they don't fucking sell you anything you don't buy anything through them they don't do a partial purchase they don't do shit The only thing they do is what employers have always done they offer the insurance via they refer you to the fucking website it's up to you to buy it however you're not actually buying it through them. So like I said none of this that you listed off is actually happening to those making 54,000 or more a year and if it is it's a you problem!
Lack of financial awareness is cause. Cannot rest at night when the bank is your taskmaster. Pay for your home upfront. Owe man nothing but love. Eat well, work smart, own your own business. Enjoy what you do, whatever it is. $ is a tool not the goal. Put God first and the rest will come.
Yes, but it's not limited our individual financial awareness, or unawareness in this case. Our government continues to spend even though we can't pay the debt we currently owe. Taxes are going to go up and up as the deficits and inflation continues to grow our buying power declines.

Has anyone calculated how much money this man has made by making doom and gloom videos for at least a decade, if not more? But I agree with everything he says in this video.
Majority of problems in the United States are a direct result of taxation. Cities continue to raise property taxes without considering incomes of residences. Local government have resumed property confiscation if you refuse to pay. This highlights a real issue with property rights. Families are struggling to pay property taxes in 2025. It should be illegal to raise taxes without written consent.
@royharper2003 That's your primary concern? Where this person was educated? Lemme guess you grew up in a dumpster and never received a sliver of help from anyone but NOW you own 4 houses and 6 trucks, your own business and tons of money in the bank? If everyone could just work harder like you.
Exactly they're stooges The middle class is actually become quite weak it's not the middle class of our grandparents or great grandparents and I'm a 40-year-old millennial in March. Our grandparents and great grandparents achieved middle classism through savings not spending they practiced and dabbled in the art of thrift The boomers onward were the ones who bought into the concept of overpaying for everything out of convenience somehow the store that was going to put the product on the shelf anyway decided to jack up the price and tell you it was convenience and somehow these morons decided it was convenient and they paid the price they laid down and took it right up the ass and I charged that basically occurred pretty much early '80s and it's gotten worse sense. Oh the Gen x don't get out of it either because most of them have tried to act like the boomers etc and yep they followed suit funny thing it seems like enough of a millennials actually managed to hang out with our grandparents to pick up on how to actually handle money I guess the reason that we haven't achieved what they did is simply because well the costs are 20 times higher than what the fuck we make we can't make any more money there is no real way to make any more money than what one is currently making and that's been true for well over a decade. Periodically there might be some raises because time does allow for that but it's usually dog shit. So it's interesting we actually generally know how to handle money we're very careful with money in many respects but we don't have the proper jobs that would allow us to really do much I mean you can buy a house on $15 an hour at 40 hours a week but really you can get the home loan paying for it is a different story.
It sounds good on the surface, but since we're a consumer based economy, not spending will just usher the end in more quickly. Not spending only works when you're a producing society, not a consuming society.
If you only make 34k per year, you are NOT in the middle class, but rather are low income or worse depending on how many children you have decided to have.
Yeah. Here in Denver, it's $2500-$4000/mo for nanny or FT daycare. We're not poor or rich, but i stay home to care 100% for our 2 yr old because that cost would be my hypothetical entire paycheck. CO has universal prechool but my child cant get 15 hrs/wk until he's 4.
Our parents had the good fortune to be living at a one-time-only period in human history. We, their children, grew up thinking that was "normal". But that period (1945 - 2000) was NOT normal, or anything like it. Now we are back to the way most humans have ALWAYS lived. THIS is the REAL "normal".

As someone who has lived comfortably for years on section 8 and SSI all these things seem unnecessarily luxuries. In fact I would consider them the rich class
Ive always felt that families with SAHMs, personal trainers and people who could afford to send their kids to private schools were above middle class. The cost of "daycare" at a facility is pretty affordable for middle class. They could consider the cost of having more children before having more too. What isnt necessarily attainable is a personal family Nanny. There is a huge difference between the two and families are trying to get the Nanny also to do housework, laundry, shopping and more. That is not simply "childcare" or a babysitter, so would of course cost way more. These families also tend to treat their Nanny like crap too, and they have absolutely NO benefits or retirement. As far as "you had it so good as a Boomer (1963). I was a kid in the late 60's/early 70's and considered middle class. Our vacations (one week per year and sometimes just 4 days) was camping in a tent at a state park. We had only ONE car and it was used when we paid cash for it. When my parents went out, we stayed at our Grandparents house overnight. Our house had a parents bedroom and a kids bedroom, one bathroom, one living room, an eat in kitchen and a one car unattached garage; no office, no guest room; And the reason people cant afford to buy a home is that they're arent enough smaller homes any more. They keep building . 3-5 bedroom houses; with 3 - 4 levels with a bathroom on each floor, sometimes several on one floor/ a living room, a tv room AND a formal living room/ a separate dining room (sometimes two) that you never use except on holidays (we used to open our table up in the middle of the living room (adding card tables to the end to fit everyone) and pull out the folding chairs. lol Oh and our home loan was signed at 8% interest and that was a good rate. Debt is the enemy. Get out of debt (all debt except your housing) and live under your means and you will be fine IF you are truly middle class.
Seems that the middle class in the US doesn't yet understand what real financial misery and distress mean. They will definitely find it out but it should take a couple of years or so. .
Cannot afford vacations, personal trainers and health food? They definitely don't comprehend what the future holds for them! But they will definitely wind it out 😭

I'll be 40 in March and I have never once made a car payment to a traditional financial institution basically when I was 16 I bought two cars that summer I bought a truck off the neighbor and I made payments every week well at the same time I bought a family hand-me-down car through my grandmother and I made payments every week... Counting those two vehicles I have owned a total of, 12 vehicles. One of which I owned before I was 16 another was purchased slightly before I turned 16 and actually got the driver's license The problem with it was the catalystic converter was plugged the asshole dealership wouldn't lend me a saw and so armed with what to do which was cut the fucking exhaust off and get rid of that damn catalystic converter I get within hardly a mile of my house and the engine goes pop because it got too hot it seized. But it was an overheating problem that I could not figure out at that time and hear it turns out it was the catalytic converter. But basically yeah I've always bought my cars out right and like I said the only payment situations I did was through a relative and a neighbor that was it I have never once had a car loan and I looked into it a couple of times but fuck that I'll find a better deal and if anything I would rather buy the car for 5 to $800 or nowadays perhaps 1,01500 and even if I have to sync a couple three grand in it it's still cheaper than buying it off of a lot and paying stupid amounts of interest.

It costs so much to,remove the solar panels when you need a new roof that it really sets back the break even point for the investment of solar panels. One person had to pay $6,000 dollars to,have a few solar panels gently removed, then re installed, so,that a new roof could be put on. It pushed the pay off / break even point out a few years. That need to be considered if one thinks one wants to invest in solar panels on the roof.
Panels and batteries (if you use those) need to be replaced every so often. When you figure that price in you may find out your actually paying more even if the government program paid for the original installation.
SPOT ON 78!!!!! NOBODY EVER THINKS OF THE COST TO GET THOSE SOLAR PANELS OFF FOR ROOF REPLACEMENT/REPAIR!! Yeah, and dont count on the sales people to tell you about that either. Solar in this country is a fraud for exactly that reason. DONT DO IT. You can have panels if you live in a country where roof labor is cheap otherwise forget it, not worth it.
Sell everything now and move to the rural parts. You can still get land cheap. Build a small homestead and live off the land. That's how our great, great, greats did it. Modernity is a bust.
Now you really can't simply because everybody's already had that idea and the areas that you can get cheap land the problem is those areas are in the course of the next two years going to become ghost towns and/or counties everybody's leaving That's why everything is so cheap because there is no fucking jobs there to actually support you living there so nope sorry not an option try again!
Lands not cheap where I’m at. The “cheap” land isn’t good for anything accept maybe hunting, which is usually how it’s marketed. The stuff that is usable is crazy expensive.
My friend and I graduated from college together then went to grad school. She works in finance and I’m a high school math teacher. We live in New York City and define ourselves as middle class. Worker, what you're saying is nothing new. The middle class has been dying for years and they're trying to hold on. The middle class is basically the imitation version of the rich. That both have nice houses. Both have nice new cars except one difference. The rich can actually afford it. The middle class is all I'm credit.
Well totally I mean I've said for over a decade now that if you take away the credit lines most of these people would not be anywhere near the supposed middle class most of them are just looking and acting the part which is why they're extremely superficial and they're very prone to keeping up with the Joneses which takes most of their money. I never did buy the concept that the middle class was the backbone because frankly all I saw was a bunch of weak asses people that would sob and cry if they got laid off and then they'd have to go pay a fucking therapist and spend even more money.
Most of this applies to parents with minor children. The end does address the needs of retired folks. However, it's mostly about travelling, vacations and relocating.
The reason middle class people won't be able to afford certain amenities anymore is because they are no longer "middle class." Stagnant wages, and inflation has made them working class, or working poor. The middle class as we knew it has been dying off for years.
Looking at the amount of credit card debt in the country and the statistic showing 60% of the country can’t pay for a 1k emergency, odds are most people can’t afford a vacation either. Just because they can’t afford doesn’t mean they won’t do it anyways.

I have considered myself to be in the middle class. However, with the possibility of social security being cut, I will quickly drop into poverty level. This means I will buy less. Now if other seniors are like me, companies will be selling less. This all spirals downward. Not a good idea.

That that really brought the problem to the forefront it totally exacerbated it I mean I have over 23 years business management retail experience and I can tell you that if you go to any of the jobs boards you'll find where they want retail managers but they're talking about how you two could be the store manager for like 1350 to $15 an hour That's fucking bullshit a lot of places I mean if they were somewhat on a smaller side or maybe just a cheap ass they might pay in the neighborhood if 45 $50,000 but commonly a store manager the head honcho of that location would get 55 to 65,000 a year now they don't do this now you're lucky if you get 38 to 40,000 a year and many more of them are talking like 32 to 35,000 a year if they disclose the salary otherwise they'll give you a dollar amount that if you added up before taxes per year would hardly come out to be $32,000 or less... Of course the other dirty little trick that they like to pull is they'll talk about how you can earn 50 grand a year at this job but then you get in there to the interview and you find out that it's a lottery scheme. So basically what they say to you during the interview is that your base pay is 40,000 a year but with all of your bonuses you'll be getting 50 here's the problem there's bonuses are tied to impossible metrics You're never gets going to see the full 10,000 so they've basically robbed the job of $10,000 of the wage to dingle in front of you knowing that you'll never really be able to get it. The reason why I cite 2020 is nonsense is because later in that year I could detect that a lot of these employers were increasing their bluntness about dropping wages and I knew what they were doing, Basically most employers had bat that post Rona things were going to be economically bad and so they thought that they could rely on some sort of or force people into some sort of 1930s mentality that if they lessens the wages people will still bow down and do it because of the nonsensical concept that some money is better than none never mind that that some money doesn't actually pay the bills and they still end up in the street. So basically at the time I remember saying to friends and family that these fuckers are on the wrong side of that bed people are not going to comply and that's what we've seen a lot of people are basically saying you know what keep your shit job keep your crappy apartments fuck it we'll go to the street. So devaluation of jobs I do believe is happening across the board but my beef with the videos that do nothing but blab about the supposed middle class well okay so it's my belief that if you're making anywhere near 50,000 a year let alone if you're making anywhere near 100,000 a year you really have a you problem if you can't live on that. So yeah I mean you might have one less trip per week per month over to Macy's to buy some high dollar bullshit but that's not exactly what I would consider hard times You're still better off then the majority or shall we say the bottom third. That really this problem affects everyone else below the middle class situation or those that are barely considered in the bottom rung of the middle class and by the bottom rung I mean somewhere it roughly 35,000 being a single person. I mean everybody else is basically totally screwed and then of course there's the disappearance of the hope that you could climb out of it so it's like maybe right now you could be an assistant manager somewhere maybe you're lucky enough to see 16 or 1650 an hour well the idea is you would build x amount of time there you would look for another job and hopefully the next job would pay you at least closer to 20 so maybe you'll go from 16 something to 18 something you'd move up in the world it's a meager move but it's a move nonetheless The problem is that's quickly disappearing we don't really have that option. So for those making less money today there's virtually no chance to make any more than what you're currently doing particularly taking the conventional job route. So in other words basically you have a lot of people degree or no degree that do have skills that do have a decent repertoire that do have decent amounts of experience or they are currently in a position to build decent amounts of experience but the bitch of it is these people would never really see the fruits of their labor pay off in other words they will never be able to achieve anything remotely close to middle classes simply because the jobs have been devalued and there's really nowhere to run.
Not just middle-class the poor people are being shoved underneath the carpet as well.. people with a fixed income are struggling just as much.. and everything is so expensive you can't afford it that includes rent.. you will see more handicapped people homeless you will see more elderly people homeless... because the average rent is over $700.. I haven't even seen a 700 rent it's well past that $800 $900 $1,000 if not close to $3,000 for a studio apartment.. everything in one room except for the bathroom.. you're going to see more of it this is going to get worse it's not going to get any better.. I live in a camper that you pull around because I can't afford anything.. I'm on somebody else's property because of it.. if anything happens to the property owner I'm screwed I'm going to have to figure out how to get a 30-ft camper that's 8 ft wide weighs about 4 tons off of this man's property.. and his family they are pieces of work if you know what I mean.. his family is going to make absolutely sure that I leave the camper here and take what I can carry and walk away.. and calling the police will be absolutely useless.. because they've got connections if you know what I mean.. I'm afraid that it's going to happen in the winter time and in Arkansas it has been dropping below freezing lately.. and homeless shelters are even worse.. you don't want to go to a shelter you will be raped you will be robbed you will have the crap kicked out of you..
Half of Americans voters must have enough money for private schools since Trump is getting rid of the Department of Education. No more funds for any public schools. The other half of voters that think it should be a right in America for a free public education better get that third and fourth job for that new grade school bill everyone is about to get.
I just checked her out on google and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.

I agree, having the right plan is priceless. My portfolio is well-suited for any market and recently doubled since early last year. My CFP and I are aiming for a seven-figure goal, which might take another year to achieve.

Minimalism is my strategy. I'm quite comfortable precisely because I don't piss my money away trying to impress the others.

I tried working full time when the 3 kids were young. My wages put us in a higher tax bracket, so we actually didn't
show much profit for the effort. Then the cost of daycare for the youngest. Then the chaos in the evenings as
we helped kids with homework, made dinner, did laundry, had kids' baths, etc. One night as I was washing the kitchen
floor at midnight, we decided it wasn't worth the extra money. With good budgeting, living in a 1500 sq ft house,
home cooking, it worked out. And the kids had much less stressed parents.
You were lucky that you were even able to buy and afford a home.

They love spending their money to pretend to be rich. The plan is working. Prey on their insecurities and self-worth.

They will definitely find it out but it should take a couple of years or so. .

"Looks like poverty"??? It is poverty when you can afford housing and food.
It's the typical well paid types whining that they can't keep up with the Joneses via they now have to go elsewhere for their cheaply made overpriced Chinese shit than go to Macy's, Penny's and Kohl's.
Boohoo I guess highschool never ended for these simps.
BRAVO 👏
Does visiting a family member a few hundred miles away at their house for a few days count as a vacation? I don't stay in a motel at the beach for a few days eating restaurant food though. If you need to save money on streaming, get rid of the paid streaming services and use the free ones, watch over-the-air television with an antenna, and use a DVD or Blu-ray player and purchase discs at thrift stores for $1-2.
Oh bs. I was an only child, and my parents couldn't afford any type of summer camp for me. Nor did we take a vacation, unless you count once a year at christmas. And baby sitters, I can only recall having a babysitter 2 possibly 3 times in my life. And according to statistics, we where middle to lower middle income at the time. I don't know why people are coloring the past with rose colored glasses.
Public safety will be an issue for the middle class too. You have migrants committing serious crimes meanwhile police officers are unable to keep up.
You have non-migrants committing serious crimes, too. Don't you worry about them?
I tell people you can save money instead of paying for cable TV and don't watch streaming as well. As streaming instant new cable TV like Amazon Netflix, Disney. The adds up to cable TV. Basically. I watch free TV this tones of free channels and is TH-cam and it's too big as well. Guys, it's kind of free apps to watch Free! TV. Why would you pay for cable that? Don't make sense to me. Never another week's Hawaii level. Alternatively and cheap.
So people are okay with our tax dollars being spent on other countries and people. The government did this and they need to reduce spending and pay down the deficit. I’m pissed I pay taxes and work hard and everything costs more and more.
uh this has been going on for almost ever so what's your point?
The only way my daughter who is a single mom can pay for child care is with financial help from the government
maybe she should have bought birth control instead?
@@royharper2003 Maybe the man who contributed the squirming lil worms should have kept his zipper zipped? Or perhaps wrapped that lil pickle?
Her fault. Now she will leach off the system for her entire life while taxpayers pay for her. I bet the dad doesn't pay child support too
Haven't made a car payment since 1982.
@@American-Motors-Corporation so do you fix your own vehicles and how can you pay for a new part if your car breaks down
@kittytonic87 Yes and then you use a thing called money to buy parts and once in awhile I'll go ahead and pay a garage if I don't feel like doing it.
Some of us have the ability to make money it's just some people make more than others.
@kittytonic87 of course my daily driver is extremely easy to work on because it is a 1987 Chevy Camaro she's only got $47,000 mi on her she's been my daily driver for a little over 2 years now five speed manual that's right I drive a manual transmission and I'll be 40 in March so put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Although you're handling plies you're 2 years younger than me given the 87 that's on there.
@American-Motors-Corporation just because it says 87 doesn't mean that's my year of birth
"You will own nothing, and you will pretend to be happy, otherwise they will come for you and your family".
First time home buyers or people that sold many years ago & haven't bought in years can't afford to buy back into this market. Prices & interest rates are all too high!
Welcome aboard fellow brokies 🫡
It costs so much to,remove the solar panels when you need a new roof that it really sets back the break even point for the investment of solar panels. One person had to pay $6,000 dollars to,have a few solar panels gently removed, then re installed, so,that a new roof could be put on. It pushed the pay off / break even point out a few years. That need to be considered if one thinks one wants to invest in solar panels on the roof.
They don't have to be on the roof if you have land. I'm putting mine in a clearing. You only need a large back yard with sun exposure.
Panels and batteries (if you use those) need to be replaced every so often. When you figure that price in you may find out your actually paying more even if the government program paid for the original installation.
thing is they should get a new roof than put panels on 1st or wait years to get a new roof
That's exactly how I did it. Thank you for thinking the same way!
land cheap not where i am ...
Lands not cheap where I’m at. The “cheap” land isn’t good for anything accept maybe hunting, which is usually how it’s marketed. The stuff that is usable is crazy expensive.
Save your money and sleep in the streets! 😂😂😂
My friend and I graduated from college together then went to grad school. She works in finance and I’m a high school math teacher. We live in New York City and define ourselves as middle class. Grew up in similar circumstances. She’s Catholic and I am Jewish. I live in a rent stabilized walk-up and she lives in a luxury high rise. Same size about 650 sq. ft. 2 bed 1 bath. I make around $101,500 including teaching college at night and occasionally summer school. Her salary is more than double that not counting bonuses.
Which one of us is middle class? It’s not an income level, it’s a mindset.

I went today to get my annual car maintenance for my 2007 Prius and to Walmart for food.... $600 poof! I kid you NOT!
Don't mind me folks ,I'm just here for my daily dose of DOOOOOM!!!

Meanwhile the video maker is probably making 80k+ a year off these junk videos which he likely uses AI for the writing & all clips are stolen. You know society is in trouble when buffoons sitting in their living rooms can make more than a doctor by uploading a video once a week.
I'm favoured, $29k every 2 week's! I can now give back to the locals in my community, paid off my mortgage, support Charity organizations and able to take care of my family.

How're you earning such weekly? sometimes I feel down on myself because of low finances, but I still believe in God
Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.
Sounds familiar. I have heard her name on several occasions and read about her success stories in wall street journal!
Who's Elizabeth Regina Nelsen!?looking forward to this opportunity Can I also sign up from Ontario Canada?
She is really a good investment advisor. I was privilege to attend some of her seminars. That's how I started my own crypto investment.
Epic Economist, do you ever have any positive stories to tell?
No this is a doom and gloom channel. Nothing good and positive gets posted here.
Fear and gloom are very, very profitable.
nope thats his gig just 2 tell it as it is do wat u want with it

With God willing we gonna be good.Never was easy, life is art now but we are a artist 💪💪
Still beats the middle 'income' of a Cherokee in 1856; bead making, maze planting, living in a TP without having TP and cell 'phone'? WELL> forget 'bout it!
Worker, what you're saying is nothing new. The middle class has been dying for years and they're trying to hold on. The middle class is basically the imitation version of the rich. That both have nice houses. Both have nice new cars except one difference. The rich can actually afford it. The middle class is all I'm credit.
the credit class, or barley hanging in there class
Well totally I mean I've said for over a decade now that if you take away the credit lines most of these people would not be anywhere near the supposed middle class most of them are just looking and acting the part which is why they're extremely superficial and they're very prone to keeping up with the Joneses which takes most of their money.
I never did buy the concept that the middle class was the backbone because frankly all I saw was a bunch of weak asses people that would sob and cry if they got laid off and then they'd have to go pay a fucking therapist and spend even more money.
@EMMmaximino FACTS,,
I've been out of the loop Epic. I see doom and gloom hasn't changed lol
Don't spend on uber eats
Most of this applies to parents with minor children. The end does address the needs of retired folks. However, it's mostly about travelling, vacations and relocating.
champagne lifestyle on a lemondade wage serves people right
Nah you can always buy a prosecco for around $3.
I Downsized my life since the 2008 Recession !......I Live my life Nice but Simple....Healthy....Spiritually....Peacefully and I Hate Debt!....
The reason middle class people won't be able to afford certain amenities anymore is because they are no longer "middle class." Stagnant wages, and inflation has made them working class, or working poor. The middle class as we knew it has been dying off for years.
My vacation was 1 day off going to Niagara Falls on a day trip and that's it for 2 more years
who's the narrator? Ichabod Crane?
Yes
You want this guy and not the Donald Duck guy.
They will need to avoid getting laid off first, unfortunately....
I never been able to afford a vacation.
I work in the travel industry and in 29 years have only taken 2 vacations. Pathetic!!
Vacations are overrated. I was not on vacation the last 23 years. And saved the money.
Looking at the amount of credit card debt in the country and the statistic showing 60% of the country can’t pay for a 1k emergency, odds are most people can’t afford a vacation either. Just because they can’t afford doesn’t mean they won’t do it anyways.
30 years and still waiting. I guess when they throw the dirt on me will be my vacation.
Running around with Gucci clothes working at Taco Bell saying it's the government's fault. I'm broke there's too much corruption in our government Wages just isn't keeping up with cost of living. I have to rely on credit cards. Damn the system WTF😅
I have considered myself to be in the middle class. However, with the possibility of social security being cut, I will quickly drop into poverty level. This means I will buy less. Now if other seniors are like me, companies will be selling less. This all spirals downward. Not a good idea.
Great maybe it's the beginning of the end of the this evil empire
You could of fooled me,the black fridays shoppers are spending record amounts...no christmas again for our family....4 years in a row😢
I don’t like Christmas. It is commercialized. The meaning is gone
@@Deb-f6p
The 🎄 doesn't give me any excitement anymore and family gather together for Christmas Carol is gone with it. I don't recognize a lot of things anymore.
Holidays in the US is a racquet! All but 2 months there are holidays....trying to get us to 'spend'. Christmas is about the birth of Christ, NOT about giving presents. Plus Jesus was not born in winter, that is pure stupidity and has been debated since his birth. Spend time with each other and forget the spending on gifts. It will be a HUGE relief.
Sorry Charlie Christmas is never been about Christ it has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus it is a pagan holiday that the Catholics hijacked and converted into Christmas is a means of appeasing the pagans because it's actually the winter solstice.
Grow up!
Haven't had Christmas in about 10 years. No longer have money to pay for a roof over my head.
Currently homeless trying to figure things out as I can no longer afford groceries.
16.) Dating & getting married

My niece and nephew are lucky to get practically a free ride to their local college. I guess you can say they are “nepo babies”. My SIL has worked for that university since 2016. They are not rich by any means. They are lucky to have a really great mom.
Didn’t know private education was a part of the middle class. I just thought it was an upper class thing.
Upper middle class. If it were only for the wealthy there would be a lot fewer private schools in the US.
Apparently we are the poor if middle class can afford private schools and vacations everywhere
You guys,
I saved SO much money by not buying anything I absolutely positively DO NOT NEED, nor buying anything for others that IM PRETTY SURE THEY DONT WANTED; DIDNT ASKED FOR; AND I KNOW THEY NEVER NEEDED IT !!!! 🎄🎄🎁
AND OH BOY, MY SAVINGS, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE !!!! 🤑❤
im saving too but try not to be a cheapskate
I'm with you, but the reality is that savings is worth less today than when you were earning and saving that money, and if you're money is in the market, well you could lose it overnight. Think 1929 and the resulting decade.
Good for you. Just be careful though. Something like a devastating medical diagnosis and other major misfortunes can easily wipe out incredible savings.
The corruption in our government is affecting me and most of the American people
Been saving to buy an acre of land and building my own home. It's going to take about a year to draw up the plans. This will give me enough time to see if America is still a viable country to live in. I may have to ditch it for another country.
Start looking around the world. You will be amazed how wonderful other parts of the world are and how cheap it can be to live outside of the 'Legacy Countries'
You may find that few countries will want you.
leave now we will pay u
is "America still a viable country to live in" it's all relative to how much money you have. Don't blame America if you can't afford to live here.
This channel has been screaming doom for 4 years.
Those internet and streaming costs are super outdated. Average ISP is $100, streaming services w/o adds can be up to $300/month each channel is $15 to $25 monthly and then you have to pay for the home base service like Amazon Video or Dish
Yep it is struggle, still if things get too tough I can sell off a few of my rentals.
Greed
As every USA billionaire says , don’t live beyond your means ! Be humble serfs
the defination of middle class defined here hasnt existed for decades.
The one and only thing they cant afford is living 100% outside of their means. People expect a $170,000 life style with a $60,000 salary.
EXACTLY
Most jobs are paying there employees under 40k a year gross pay not 60k not 170k.
That’s how I be feeling about all of these videos.
Well yeah I mean I will say that they've been devaluing the jobs for quite some time but I would say the huge blow up about that was 2020's Rona bullshit.
The reason why I cite 2020 is nonsense is because later in that year I could detect that a lot of these employers were increasing their bluntness about dropping wages and I knew what they were doing,
Basically most employers had bat that post Rona things were going to be economically bad and so they thought that they could rely on some sort of or force people into some sort of 1930s mentality that if they lessens the wages people will still bow down and do it because of the nonsensical concept that some money is better than none never mind that that some money doesn't actually pay the bills and they still end up in the street.
That's because 60k used to be 170k not all that long ago.
WE CAN'T KEEP Funding the GOVERNMENT
Yeah but billionaire corporations making record profits are doing better than ever. 😂
My refreshing daily source of doom and gloom. 😬
It is mean there is no middle class at all.
We will never recover except for the few flying debt free.
Should be 1500 things we can’t afford
