I kinda like the fact that it's in a hotel room. Something done in a studio would sound forgettable. The video kinda makes me feel like I'm there listening to to them playing.
I was on the job tearing down a wedding setup in Cleveland last year, and I happened to run into the bass trombonist, who I assume played the wedding gig. Super nice dude!! I was just going to tell him I liked his horn, until I recognized who he was. I'm sure he was tired after the gig but he still made time to chat for a few and wave goodbye before he left. Easily one of my favorite encounters. Love this group.
How is jaw vibrato easier? Personal experience is that it takes years to develop a really great jaw vibrato. It's all up to stylistic choice since they both produce different results. I personally use jaw vibrato more, but I don't neglect slide vibrato as it can produce "better" results in some situations.
Guy next door probably in tears
Guy next door: that was BEAUTIFUL😭😭😭😭😭
I only wish I was the guy next door
Or he called the front desk. 😆
Don't know about the guy next door, but I was.
Please record this in a studio, I think everybody would love to hear the same thing with a better recording!
skyrider332 yes
Honestly, I think the echo of the room makes it sound a little better.
@@kutagore u can add wood paneling in a studio to create similar with better quality and a more controlled sound
but then it’s not a hotel jam

If I was next door, I would storm out and aggressively knock at the door and yell "i love you all."

Using slide vibrato? Why jaw vibrato is so much easier
Dane Irwin personal preference

IDK I used to play trumpet b4 learning Trombone to jaw is natural to me
1:01 the G flat is terrible but besides that awesome job
You an e part are you??
Expert^
Needs a tuba
You’re probably the type of person to call a clarinet a flute
Y’all slurred too much in the beginning
Trumpets do it better lol
as i a trumpet player myself i strongly disagree
Yes but they have alot more smoother tone and its alot more mellow.but trumpet for life
This was awesome - and I am willing to compare but I am wondering where the link containing proof to back up your opinion is........... 😂
Love it!
