I know a lot of cops who are smokin hot. I dated a cop for a couple of years and trust me it was great, but also kind of nerve wracking because there's always in the back of your mind that he's a cop and it's a dangerous job. He was a Vice cop so there were a lot of things he did he couldn't tell me about, but I never worried that someone would mess with me. LOL. Things ended on a good note, he took a job with another dept and moved. But we still talk on occasion.

I generally only go for guys much younger than I am, and am always willing to meet in a public place if they want, but most of the time they are willing to come to my house. I live in a gated community and it is nice, so they realize it is probably safe. Sometimes they are nervous when they first arrive, but that dissipates as I am not intimidating. I have also gone to meet guys at their houses too, never with any problems.

I live in Florida, so yes, you can drink in Florida on certain pages they allow it. But no glass of Coors. You can’t drink anywhere, but there are certain beaches that allow it down here.
So I dated a cop for a bit, and, not relevantly, earlier I dated a marine. What amazed me was that although both handsome and built, they were both total bottoms. Not expected. This was probably four decades ago since I have been with my husband for 3 1/2 decades now. But attraction is just human and not something related to decades, although how we find it is. No Grindr (Grinder?) back then. I have seen it, & thank goodness it was not around when I was young. Sadly, AIDS was, not that I got it, but it was horrible and prevented too much dating. My cop was strangely not too bright (nor the marine), but he was very handsome, and so scared of any indiscretion on my part re: his being gay. Of course, we all were back then. Nice guy, but, unexciting. I sure hope he found the right guy for him. Nothing more could I wish for him.

I've never been on a date like that....In actuality I've probably never been on a date at all. Hearing stories like this almost seem unreal to me. Meeting up with someone who would actually want to meet me seems so Hollywood but, apparently it happens to other people all the time. It didn't happen when I was young and now that I'm old it more than likely won't happen now. Keep the stories coming. It's interesting to hear the experiences of people who have had more successful love lives.
