And Sam just cracked an Opie egg all over it, just restating it to Colin to let him know he got the joke while at the same time being not funny. Actually I take that back. Opie wouldn't have gotten it.
That’s such a weird way to look at it lol. A lot of things can be funny that aren’t offensive or racist but just as much are. It’s just media brain washing on both sides and you’re the target lol

Collin should just be permanent third mic, or any of that old cellar crew when Collin can't. It's just nice to have that old cynical bastard call them out when things start getting too serious and un-funny. Love that CQ
Wow. Colin was always next level funny and one of the greatest, but seeing him in video is so much better. Really hammers home what an all-time legend he is, one of the funniest people ever!

God damn...when Colin reaches out to Anthony for his Andrew Dice (sometimes Gay) impression, and Ant wasn't there.... Really makes you yearn for a show that includes Anthony and Colin regularly, or at least semi-regularly like the early 00's. Awards ceremonies have finally went from being about rich people slapping each other on the back, to literally rich people slapping each other on the back. Gervais has the right idea. Brutal roasting is what's need to knock at least some of the pomposity out of the situation.
I disagree and found Jimmy's "it's never swinging back" analysis annoying. It's impossible for comedy to never swing back because it's always going to be funny despite it currently not being mainstream at the moment. Podcasts like Come Town are proof humor isn't dead but proof pop culture is rapidly changing technology wise. By the time "it" does swing back, television will have finally lost the fight as the dominant medium for entertainment which is why the swing is taking so long to emerge.

Colin said it perfectly. "This is what Hollywood wants, humourless comedy"
