Also The Critic was a pretty good show, but the second season on Fox gets kinda cringey. There's a bunch of bits that really play around racist stereotypes, and it feels like it's for characters they created that season just to make fun of them. I don't know if Fox was pushing them to be edgier than they were on ABC, but the ABC stuff is way more solid. Fox season had some REALLY great jokes though.

The 2 B A Master CD was kinda weird. I remember somewhere near the end of the disc, there's a track called "Misty's Song" or something, and just in case the love ballad nature of it wasn't obvious enough, it was bookended by a skit where she reveals she's singing it to Ash while he's sleeping in a tent or something.
My girlfriend definitely has that Sailor Moon soundtrack, I think we found it in a card shop about ten years ago for $1.
Also The Critic was a pretty good show, but the second season on Fox gets kinda cringey. There's a bunch of bits that really play around racist stereotypes, and it feels like it's for characters they created that season just to make fun of them. I don't know if Fox was pushing them to be edgier than they were on ABC, but the ABC stuff is way more solid. Fox season had some REALLY great jokes though.

jacob talking about haruka kanata reminds me of the only time i went to a con, and they had live bands playing anime openings and that "crowd" of like 40 people was more hype singing that haruka kanata cover than any big stadium concert ive ever been to.
there were like 3 bands and all of them played it bc everyone loved it so much, the only one that ppl were almost as hype was the dbz portuguese dub opening
