Tent Camping | The Great Backyard Adventure!

About a year and a half ago my best friend delved a bit into my obsession with the outdoors. During Covid, he had gone ALL IN on bushcraft and lightweight camping gear. Getting obsessed with adventure and spending time with friends in the wilderness.
Although we couldn't find a location for a wilderness within our timeframe, we made do with everything that we could and found a perfect little spot in his backyard. An extreme outdoor experience.
Using his knowledge of hot tent camping (glamping) was such an experience for me as I wouldn't really ever head over to REI and just pick up a wood-burning stove for a tent, but he did. We both were rocking badass sleeping gear and I wish I could name all of the stuff he had but I was walking in with my Western Mountaineering backpack, Osprey backpack, and a Sea To Summit pillow and sleeping pad. It all paled in comparison to what he had brought into the woods.
If you are planning a trip, do whatever it takes to get outside and spend some time cold camping, hot tent camping, or just cowboy camping (those crazy people who don't use a tent but just sit down on the ground and call that camp)
With the hot fire going on through the night, we stayed warm and actually got a little snow!
