It's good to see you back Rob. I haven't made a video since last Sept. Just taking a break. As you know, making a video is a lot of work but like you I miss the friends.
Thanks Wyatt, it’s good to take a break, sit back and relax for a while. I’ve been waiting for a long time for the garage. But other priorities got in the way, like a driveway first. All the time old friends would comment on an old video to see how things were going.. so nice
This is one of the biggest issues we have in autumn, we are a the top of a close with a few big trees. Always funnel themselves down our drive and find themselves in the garage. Cheers 😁
My driveway is similar to your driveway but my garage floor has a one inch raise. I temporarily put 4 pool noodles to fill that gap. I had to remove them when leaving.
Interesting solution Rob :-D I used some door brushes, used a few rivet to fit them and happy days. But the rubber solution is better to stop water to get inside.
Surely a seal fixed to the door is better? You think that will last well driving over it? Also, its going to be a pain if you are pushing yokes in or out of the shop, and its a slip trip hazard. You did a good job, as always though :)
I thought about one fixed to the door but over time they wear away. This thing is solid but I certainly won’t be pushing anything up that slope. Thanks mate 👍
This was very helpful. I am hoping you'd have some advice. Does this work if you do not have a top seal on your garage door or in place of one. We can't find a replacement seal for her garage door so we are thinking of installing something like this. will it also keep rodents out?
Hi and thanks. This seal is designed to go on the garage floor. I’m not sure if you could mount it at the top. As for rodents, yes it will keep them out.
Sorry mate my VOLVO C30 T5 2010 shows engine system service urgent after resting Code20 came out. Could you please guess what that would be. I'm from Australia 🇦🇺

Yes it was doing my head in! Cheers Paul
I've used x8r products before. They do a repair kit to fix a broken glove box hinge on an Audi A4. Still working great today.
They certainly do. I’ve used them several times to save a packet
Thank you so much. This will be my weekend project.

I thought of brushes until I found this. I’m very happy with it
Thanks, mate! I have a big problem with mice in my garage. Get this soon. Looks real easy to install.
Great! It’s very easy. Thanks
Looks great! Are you going to close those holes in the door?
Thanks Dan. No nothing comes through them. The garage needs some ventilation. Ask me again in the winter 🥶
Mad. X8R do a replacement catch for wonky Citroen gloveboxes.
What a firm.
Crazy how many things they actually do!
We pride ourselves on the quirky little fixes we do!
