Sweet! Great cover MB! I really love your playing. This is very inspiring and really made my morning. I think I'll try working on a cover of your cover!
Thank you most kindly, honourable sir Jeff of Seifert! May all that is lovely in this world be visible in the eyes of those you love, and may you have the time to occasionally stop the world and notice :)
Awesome job! Been strumming since 1978, but never took the time to do more. Signed up for lessons now, and a cover likes this is so inspiring! As a sometimes Busker, a street rendition like this would go over so well. It is not going to come easy, but I will keep coming back to this for motivation. - Cheers
If your joy of the song is felt by those around you, then wonderful times await indeed! I've been performing it quite a bit in my solo shows as well, and it makes for some of my favourite concert moments :)
@@MadsBoldingMusic Ur welcome!! :) you truly deserve even more and by the way I'm a talent scout at Sessions and love what you're doing. Would love to get you in front of our global audience of music fans. Are you interested? Our team sent you an email for more details. Let me know if you got it.
@@joytalentscout9168 I may just take you up on that. My days are busy to the point where reading becomes skimming and performance becomes noodling, but I have the intention of turning that around a bit. Thank you for your ears, your words and your good will. May tomorrow bring you joy!
JJ sounds simple but as anyone who has attempted to cover his songs would agree, it’s actually quite difficult. Your guitar playing in my opinion is really good. Thanks
Fascinated by the guitar style. Reminds me of Justin Townes Earle. Is it thumb on bass, up with index finger, and down with nails on other strings? Thanks john

Good mr. Maximus, thank you for making my day with such a lovely set of thoughts!
I hope your hours of playing will be hours of the purest joy :)
Man, I really enjoyed listening to this and and watching your guitar playing. Great cover.
That's wonderful - thank you!
What song should I cover next?
Very nicely done young man, bravo 👏

Nice guitar work on classic song. Glad you were in a good mood for this. Keep it up. We love it.
Thank you so much, Neil - I really appreciate it :)
In fact, I've been listening to a lot of JJ Cale recently, so another cover might soon materialise
Totally COMPLETE... Your playing/singing are the embodiment of the man himself... I'm sure J.J. would be equally complimentary... Inspiration!
Wow, this is a compliment for the ages. Thank you :)
I hope the next cover of him won't disappoint in comparison!
Seeing people like you play make me wish i had focused on acoustic more than electric, no regrets however! So wonderful, love it
Thank you so much!
Nothing's ever too late. Dig out an old strummer, and have yourself a hummer - songs await with open arms
Fine pickin right there young man!
Thank you so much, good sir!

You definitely made it your own. I'm a huge Skynynrd fan, and I loved your version. Bravo 👏 👏
Thank you man :)
Great rendition! I love your playing style--I haven't heard anything quite like it in 60 years of playing and listening to guitar music.
Thank you so much! I suppose it's a mix of Mark Knopfler, Robert Johnson and of course the man himself, J.J. Cale ^^
Regardless, so glad you liked it!
Hey Mads, I just want you know that this is one of the best cover I've heard :) Keep it up!!
Thanks - I appreciate it : )

You're on the right track: Index and middle finger on the up/down strumming pattern with some occasionally picked notes on individual strings :)
I guess it stems from learning the clawhammer folk style of guitar
