    ○ Camping/Accommodation ○
    ● Kenmare is the largest town on this trail. It has plenty of indoor accommodation options, as well as many of the smaller towns and villages along the way. As this area sees a lot of tourism, booking ahead of time is advised but not mandatory. There is indoor accommodation available in Kenmare, Lauragh, Eyeries, Castletownbere, Adrigole, and Glengarriff.
    ● There are campsites in Lauragh (Creveen Lodge), Eyeries (Solas Mor), Adrigole (Hungry Hill), and near glengarriff in Coomarkane.
    🌿LEAVE NO TRACE IRELAND 🌿
Leave No Trace is all about knowing how you impact places when there - be it sports, waterways, hiking, camping - anything outdoors. It is so easy for us to damage nature and the natural environment, that it’s everyone’s job to learn how to take care of it, and learn the best ways to do things. This is going to take time, but if we don’t do it, there’ll be no nature left for all our adventures.

Jaysus guys, fair play to you both! The level of detail you've gone through here is incredible. You've made it so accessible for me to plan and execute this trip! I'm hoping to go in August and do the first half from Kenmare to Bear Island.

Ah thank you, that was really what we were aiming for with this series (and kinda with the project as a whole)! Great to hear it does its job ☺ Hope you have a great time in August, its really a lovely spot down there.

I've spent the last week considering doing the Beara Way but I think it might be a bit too difficult for me at the moment. I'll probably have to warm up on something else first but I love how remote this one looks, lots of wide open spaces and magnificent views.

May I ask why you did do it anti clockwise? Are the views better? Or is it less exhausting? 😅
