You don't understand what you read. He asked which one sounds better, it doesn't mean they have to sound good. If you're trying to be cocky try at least to be a bit smarter if you can, please.
Feel like people switch pedals to make 2 different sounds and switch hand position then are like "omg the difference is insane" if you spend 200 on a guitar and maybe and get pedals and amps its the same thing
I wouldn't say it's the same thing, but finding a good cheap guitar is definitely the way to go. Cheap guitars are all over the place in quality so ya just have to look around until you find one that plays and sounds good. Used is always the play in my book
@@dentalflosssalesman8117 Yeah be careful with used. You'd be shocked to find out how many people swap out the pickups. The amount of times we took in a guitar at GC and then when I went to do the setup and clean it up, realized it wasn't the stock pickups. Swapped out for $30 garbage.
Sounds like the tone knob was rolled back or it wasn't in the bridge pickup. I can't tell because the Fender control plate is reversed on that one and don't know if the selector is reversed or not
I been playing and setting up guitars since 1976.So replacing pickickups ain't no pig deal but you didn't tell your watchers how the action of the GLARRY OR LYX WAS SO CAN YOU GIVE US A CLUE. THANKS BROTHER.
I can hear the reverb bouncing off the pickguard on that cheap one. I've played some great cheap guitars. Just on some of them they got that plastic sound
I think it’s insane that you can buy a full guitar for $100, I’m building a guitar with a $400 budget (one pickup) and all the body’s I found are like $100-$300
What you also pay for (or not) is the quality of the instrument, parts and intonation. The Fender sounds much better, richer, in tune. The cheap one might do well in a punk band where you’re gonna smash it at the end anyway
@trashforulet people like what they like. I agree it’s a bit overrated. But that’s not a bad thing. I mean it’s a catchy riff, and the solo is pretty cool, so of course people will like it.
I mean, how about you put them through a DAW or mic up an amp instead of this half baked in the room with a little amplification but also the acoustic sound of the guitar. This is not represantative of either guitar.
People have an abstract idea of what should be the right way to do things (like guitar comparisons) and I do them differently than what they want to see. I think that might be mostly it. Some just don’t like the faces I make
These days. Not much difference. Although you take your chances!! Some of those cheapo guitars will rip your fingers to pieces because the frets aren't smoothed off correctly and your pickups wont stand up on a big stage.
With electric guitars , it usually comes down to Skill , pickups and the amp. Sometimes the strings as well. the rest is just wood . I fact all these components are fairly inexpensive but big brands allow themselves to charge 5X profit margin
All your heart can be adjusted to make the $100 sound identical, I assure you. Don't waste money on a name. A chibson with upgrades under $700 sounds identical to a $5000 Gibson. Same with fender. Now all the people that got suckered will get mad...
Honesty, neither guitar sounded the least bit inspiring... Sometimes its not the gear, but the player. In this case ...both. Nirvana would never have crossed my mind for a Tele demo either? Some country, or blues, would've been a better choice of material. Lastly, it sounds like you're playing through a clock radio? Why not a competant amplifier, or try turning up the volume, to showcase each guitar? Hmm...food for thought? (( FAIL ))
These kinds of comparisons are sort of BS because a mediocre instrument that is properly set up is going to sound better than an expensive instrument right from the store. If they really wanted to do an apples to apples comparison, they would have both instruments properly tuned and with good strings so that people could make a fair judgment.
Tbf, if your comparing clarity and quality, don't play a grunge track that's supposed to be raw and dirty. The $100 guitar would be better for that. Peace.
You’re gone by just the difference in the guitar me being a musician for 55 years now to me when you’re playing Kurt Cobain she might as well be playing on the cheap hundred dollar guitar because that’s what he likes. He like cheap tone on the $600 guitar, but Kurt Cobain recorded it on a crappy guitar and $600 guitar ain’t that great of a guitar either
Man played smelly teens
😭😭😭
hahahaha
💀
Fr
Apparently neither in your hands. Lol
Ouch!

Dang
…He said it…
You don't understand what you read. He asked which one sounds better, it doesn't mean they have to sound good. If you're trying to be cocky try at least to be a bit smarter if you can, please.
Honestly 100 dollars for that guitar is a steal 💯
If you buy it you WILL have to take one hour to tune it. I got the telecaster today the fourth string was falling off and it takes FOREVER to tune.
Absolutly not
You know nothing about guitar do you?
Ongg
For the seller, yes it is.
I have the same "fake" tele. Made a few mods and it's my go to guitar. I love it. It's a solid platform to build off of.
That 100 buck one sounds good
Are they even tuned the same?
yes
I wish
The fake ones strings are way looser than the real ones either because it's badly tuned or bad
Well said.😊
@@hcb_gaming2 you'd be wrong, look how much the strings are vibrating on the 100 dollar one compared to the fender
At least you could go crazy on modding that sunburst like adding a red turquoise pickguard etc
Feel like people switch pedals to make 2 different sounds and switch hand position then are like "omg the difference is insane" if you spend 200 on a guitar and maybe and get pedals and amps its the same thing

Real
I promise you the $20 pickups in a $200 guitar won't sound nearly as good as the $200 pickups in a $600 guitar.
The $600 one sounds like the tone is dialed off and by the way where did you find a fender tele that was $600
Did you record this in an echo chamber?
All of that can be adjusted in the sound system easily….
Sounds like the tone knob was rolled back or it wasn't in the bridge pickup. I can't tell because the Fender control plate is reversed on that one and don't know if the selector is reversed or not
That’s just how it sounds
If you have a problem with the sound u can always get new tone capacitors that way u can make it sound better then expensive guitar.
The first one seem to be mic recorded and the 2nd one seems to be directly recorded to a daw
I been playing and setting up guitars since 1976.So replacing pickickups ain't no pig deal but you didn't tell your watchers how the action of the GLARRY OR LYX WAS SO CAN YOU GIVE US A CLUE. THANKS BROTHER.
Honestly squier can sound good if you modded it and stuff probably fixed the neck and stuff
Both sound good tho
Sounds like you’re playing through a $100 Amazon amp
When it comes to sound... it actually depends on individual taste
I am the end it doesn’t matter the price of the ax just as long as you get out there swinging❤
I spent 600 building a fake tele with real tele parts like a mad man
I can hear the reverb bouncing off the pickguard on that cheap one. I've played some great cheap guitars. Just on some of them they got that plastic sound
Probably is better the first guitar than the second
For the first time I notice a very big difference in the sound, and I think the $600 one wins.
The cheap one is more twangy if you will lol
100 dollar guitar has microphones for pickups. I mean it's a sound but $600 gets you something you can gig with.
I have that guitar it's great
Yes but which one feels better?
$600 tele? That's a steal, best I can find is $750
The 600 one by leaps and bounds
its not a “fake” telecaster. its just a different brand
I think it’s insane that you can buy a full guitar for $100, I’m building a guitar with a $400 budget (one pickup) and all the body’s I found are like $100-$300
Tye Les Paul express is a grunty nice neck cheapy
No comparison. Try hooking the Amazon guitar up to a Marshal tube full stack . There's a huge difference that will be self evident.
With an equalizer you’d never know the difference
Equally important is a playability
To be honest they both have desirable tones
And what amp is it going thru? The best guitar will sound like crap played through a cheap solid state amp.
It sounded pretty good
What you also pay for (or not) is the quality of the instrument, parts and intonation.
The Fender sounds much better, richer, in tune.
The cheap one might do well in a punk band where you’re gonna smash it at the end anyway
Squier classic vibe $450 all you need
How is it fake if youre playing it bro
Bc it aint fender but he should have worded better honestly
The 600$ tele kinda sounds like the original
Bro why you playing smells like teen spirit on a tele?
He don't know what he's doing. Go look at his long form vids they are so bad lol
Guitar Center i went there and it was a real telecaster for 100 dollars
MY FAVORITE SONG
@trashforulet people like what they like. I agree it’s a bit overrated. But that’s not a bad thing. I mean it’s a catchy riff, and the solo is pretty cool, so of course people will like it.
I would definitely say the real one sounds better
It’s not fake, its a budget 😭😭😭
Maybe play something that you can hear notes on to see what sounds better instead of mindless bar stuff
You used a different pickup selection when you swapped to the 600 dollar tele.. were not stupid
I think the switch isn' t in the same position
That’s different color but no more
Although Kurt used cheap guitars for his music so the fake Amazon, but for other things I’d go the real one
I like 100 dollar look bright
600 sound like shits 100 sounds perfect
Hears similar to adult mindset
Swap out the pickups
yellow, maybe
600 but the Amazon is 6 time cheeper
I mean, how about you put them through a DAW or mic up an amp instead of this half baked in the room with a little amplification but also the acoustic sound of the guitar. This is not represantative of either guitar.
After watching your videos I've observed that you get so many hate comments. I wonder why is that ?
People have an abstract idea of what should be the right way to do things (like guitar comparisons) and I do them differently than what they want to see. I think that might be mostly it. Some just don’t like the faces I make
The Amazon guitar sounds like a tin can.
The amazon tele sounds better the Texas twang.
It's not the guitar, it's the player

Now all the people that got suckered will get mad...
the real fender sounds good more like 700$
It feels sacrilegious to play nirvana on a tele
Well , the 100 dollar guitar sounds good.... But the $600 guitar sounds 6 times better
Really the fender is the top tier 70 years ago. A dozen other brands surpass it in 2023. They are a good practice guitar, tgats about it
The real one but not by $500
I thought the fake sounded horrible. The legit one was almost as bad. Both ick
Sounds like $700 down the drain
Btw both guitars would pretty much sound the same on a shitty amp like the one one you played it with
La de 600 más limpio el sonido que la de 100😅
$600 obviously
Amazon one sounds much better. Wow
no, it doesn't...
he just has a crappy amp
@@MaxineTheQueen1it does
I like the fake one actually
Two completely different strum techniques
Real is more in tune.
They’re both in tune just the first guitars strings are shitty, plus tune doesn’t effects tone
At least make sure it’s in tune before you play
Bass
For real
Honesty, neither guitar sounded the least bit inspiring...
Sometimes its not the gear, but the player. In this case ...both.

i prefer the fake
You can hear the price
Not recorded similarly.
Bridge pu vs neck pu
You would see if he’s on the bridge
The fake one sounds better. As the own of 7 fender products their QC has gone down.jk the fender Mexican sounds better

Noooo....no tele...only strat😅
600$ one
I find one for 60 and the cheap ones can be really good there good beginner guitar for people like me who need practice
fender imo
Fake Fender for $100 or 10,000₽ is very good
Tbf, if your comparing clarity and quality, don't play a grunge track that's supposed to be raw and dirty. The $100 guitar would be better for that. Peace.
Both sound out of tune 😢
$100 sounds better
Orjinal sapta çalınmış fake briç te

Ahh so that's why nirvana sounds so bad
Might wanna learn how to play the guitar first before making a comparison vid lol
