- Instead of spending a couple hundred bucks on plastics, and another couple hundred on graphics, I decided to spend $30 on some wood-grain wrap from Vvivid. This is how it turned out!
Here is an affiliate link to the wrap I used. Purchases made through this link will help me grow this channel!:

looks awesome
Wood grain I’m grippin
the two tone is sick on the front and back fenders.
Thanks! I honestly went that route because it was a bit easier, but I'm super happy with how those parts turned out.
Looks sharp
What a task. Very cool video and informative!
Love it man, you did a great job and the bike came out great. Curious to how its held up over the past two years ?
Thanks man! Unfortunately I’ve only ridden the bike once since doing the wrap. My daughter was born a couple weeks after doing the wrap, and I haven’t been on the bike since then. The wrap did tear a bit where it was hit by my boot kick starting, but seemed to hold up just fine where branches and other trail debris hit it.
The pun at the end made me murder myself
Id like to do my headlight like yours, can you tell me what I need?
If you look through my videos (I don't have many lol), I have two videos on how I fabricated the light mound and shield, as well as wired it all up.
@@flyinphil6884 Thanks bro
Would it also work if i take plastics off?
It would probably be easier actually. You can move the parts around and get to the tough spots with a heat gun. I would cut the edges off around the back of the plastics so you can't see the edges.
What size what that whole roll?
What's up with the milwaukee battery
It powers the headlight and tail lights! Here in Alberta, you need a headlight and tail light to legally ride on trails on crown (government-owned) land. Since this old race bike doesn’t have a battery system, I would have had to spend a few hundred bucks on a high-output stator if I wanted to run any accessories like lights. I figured a $25 battery adapter made more sense.
I will pay someone my anxiety would cause me to light the bike on fire
Any problem with the gas tank bubbling?
Indeed it did! I've been meaning to make an update video, but haven't had the time. I rode the bike once after doing the wrap, then we had our daughter and it has been parked since then.
What light do you have on your bike?
Just a 6” light bar from Amazon. If you check my channel, I have a couple videos on how I fabricated the mount for it and the fairing, as well as how I wired it all in.
How has this held up?
Wondering the same.
Did it start to bubble on the gas tank?
It did! I've only had a chance to go on one ride since making this video, but I've been meaning to do an update video. I'm glad I left some bare plastic on the fenders, as having just the tank black won't look too out-of-place.
@@flyinphil6884 I’m about to wrap my wr, but I have the 5 gallon tank & it’s definitely gonna look outta place just being black meanwhile the rest of the bike is exclusive….
How much wrap did you have to buy ?? “Dimensions please “
Hey! I purchased a 6 foot by 4 foot section of wrap, but ended up with a bit extra. I'll throw an affiliate link into the description of the video!
what is fixed under seat ? thks
That's a Milwaukee m12 battery that powers my headlight and taillight! Here in Alberta, you technically need lights if riding on crown (public) land.
cool but you probably have learned by now that the tank is gonna bubble
it definitely did!
