Yeh maybe silver base coat. Might help the coverage
For sure! I’ve tried that since then in one of my later videos, and I was very happy with the results.
@@flyinphil6884 but the black base is still nice. But , it’s just the look you want. And with candy and or flake it’s the look after ifs finished. I had some candy once I was painting a friends mc tank , I put 4 base coats down and candy on top. Yeh made it harder for myself lol, but that’s the thing with custom painting. To many variables
I love it bro
Thank you!
Very nice 👍
Man....B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! 🤠👍
Thank you very much!
Absolutely love the look of this!!! would you mind if i gave it a shot my self for my own dirtbike?
@@hyperkryptix go for it dude! That’s why I post, hoping I can help someone else out with their own stuff!
@@flyinphil6884 ok thanks. love the vids.i modeled a mount for the light i have i wanted to make it detachable so i turned it into a gopro mount
@@hyperkryptix that’s an awesome idea!
Quality!🤌🏼
Good format for video! Should be getting more views soon.
@@corys876 thank you!
Your work looks amazing
Thank you so much!
It almost looks like a crushed crystal mica powder.
This fan isn't explosion proof, based on it's manual. I have the 10in Vevor, and the motor is mounted on the outside. There's also a 12in model with the motor on the outside. Be careful with this one!
Thanks for posting this... after watching your video, I settled on the smallest inflatable spray booth by VEVOR. This one comes with 2 blowers. I purchased an explosion proof fan and am in the process of building a 3/4" PVC pipe frame so I can finish my guitars without having to keep the fans on at all times. Thanks for all of the great ideas! There aren't many videos of small inflatable spray booth set ups out there. Hope you post another video of you spraying. Best of luck to you!
No worries man! I was in the same boat, and there aren’t many reviews or videos of these little booths. I’m glad I bit the bullet and got one, though. While it is no substitute for a real booth, it has been fantastic for the first few little projects I sprayed. The pvc skeleton is a must, as I’ve been able to kick the booth off about 20 minutes after finishing my spraying.
Man that is one of the best looking paint jobs I've seen on a semi
Thank you!
you need a full video of this great job
I wish I had had the time to set up a second camera in landscape mode! Unfortunately, this one will only be “short form”, but I am working on another cool truck in the shop right now that might just get a full video, I just have to talk with the owner about it!
Quality work there mate , loving it !!
Thank you very much!
god i miss painting, got another subscriber!
Adding a comment for the algorithm
Haha thanks buddy! You’re the best
I added a like for the algorithm as well. But I enjoyed the work.
@@johnlanthier9047 thank you very much!
Gave a like too, I know how hard it is doing pinstripes for paint
@@marty3469 thanks Marty!
What light do you have on your bike?
Just a 6” light bar from Amazon. If you check my channel, I have a couple videos on how I fabricated the mount for it and the fairing, as well as how I wired it all in.
Another in my feed? Stop hacking my acount
You keep coming up in my TH-cam shorts... Can you stop hacking the algorithm?
Oh I know you like to watch!
how do we go from a country where people are spending crazy money on "show trucks" to the point where people under 35 cant afford a place of their own
Depends where you are in the country I suppose. Houses are still affordable (for now) in a good portion of Alberta. My wife and I have owned our house since our late 20’s (neither of us are 35 yet) she went to university, I work in the trades. As for show trucks… this one was built by a local heavy duty diesel shop as a showcase for the kind of work they put out. The shop I work for did the body and paint, but they did all of the engine work, wiring, etc.
Awesome
Thanks dude!

Love the color!! A deep red like that!👍
My ppg guy did a fantastic job matching the waterborne paint that was used on the body of the truck!
What air brush and compressor
Iwata NEO CN airbrush, and a “snap on” 20 gallon compressor. I don’t have a small airbrush compressor.
Buy a baseball? This guy: Nah imma do my own thing
That flake is aggressive
New subscriber here!! Just came across your video on spraying flake. Found this video…figured I’d sub and watch all your videos
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Can I just ask what this line of work is called with the painting and all? Because you're clearly a professional. The Borderlands style is one of my favorites, and they look amazing.
Thank you! Autobody is the industry term for the work I do. I’m a ticketed autobody refinisher (painter), and body technician.
That's absolutely incredible work mate. Well done, keep it up
Thank you so much!
Love it! Can’t wait until my daughter can ride a bike so I can do this for her
Awesome job!! much better then the red plastic dip I did on Logans run bike.
Thanks man! I’m sure Logan appreciated it just the same!
What do you mean by, " I don't wanna be that guy" when you said you dont want to hit your neighbours with the paint overspray and smell?
I was just thinking of you, sweetheart!
I wonder if you could use a booth coating in there
You know, I seriously considered grabbing a 5 gallon pail of spray mask so that I can pressure wash off the walls every once in a while. I’ve already sprayed in it once (video coming soon!), but I may do that anyway to increase the longevity.
Bruh ur on TH-cam!
Haha you bet!
Great video an walk through
Thank you!
Love it man, you did a great job and the bike came out great. Curious to how its held up over the past two years ?
Thanks man! Unfortunately I’ve only ridden the bike once since doing the wrap. My daughter was born a couple weeks after doing the wrap, and I haven’t been on the bike since then. The wrap did tear a bit where it was hit by my boot kick starting, but seemed to hold up just fine where branches and other trail debris hit it.
It’s too perfect I’d never drive it. Great work, the way everyone should do it without cutting corners
Thank you so much!
I’ve never hit the like on a video while it was loading before. Wheels are surreal.
Thank you very much! I just threw them back on my car for the summer last night, I didn't realize how much I missed them over the winter!
@@flyinphil6884 I can’t wait to do this. I appreciate what you’ve done. I also hope you post footage of what you do daily. Semis and large trucks don’t have a lot of that on here.
Badass

That is just insane in a good way 🤩
Thank you very much!
csncollision.com/locations/morinville-collision-repair-centre-in-morinville/ Thank you CSN collision for making this video possible!
Looks great! I love those Createx candies. I use their products exclusively for airbrushing. That shot of the board before and after clear coating really shows you the difference!
Thank you very much! Yea, it’s crazy how much the clear brings the candies to life. I wish the camera could do it more justice as well, it always looks better in person!
Very familiar with createx. Don’t use balancing clear as a candy carrier. Only use 4050. But I don’t think that’s your color issue. You can go 1:1 Candy 2.0 to 4050 and it’ll work straight for most airbrushes but be a strong tint.
Thanks for the advice! I went with the 4050 at 1:1 for another deck that I sprayed this week, and it went very well, though I used some darker candies that better achieved the effects I wanted.
Looks awesome, Exited to see more of your channel in my feed
Thank you very much!
Himalayan orange peel....Learn to flow coat and increase the quality of the job.....
You bet! I hammered 3 coats of clear on there, with the intentions of either adding more graphics to it, or just doing a good cut and polish. I haven’t decided which route to take yet!
@@flyinphil6884 Definitely looks like a hammered finish......
Pro painter? And can you be any more Canadian? But.... You unfortunately did a wicked job on the lines and paint work, keep it up and can't wait for the next video
