    Hello Guys,
In this video, I have shared my experience of Chicken's Neck Corridor. It was a different kind of experience. Chicken's neck Corridor is considered as one of the biggest threat for India's security.
The Siliguri Corridor is a narrow stretch of land (about 22 kilometres (14 mi) wide) located around the city of Siliguri in West Bengal, India. The corridor is important as it connects the states of Northeast India to the rest of India through the city of Siliguri. The countries of Nepal and Bangladesh lie on each side of the corridor and the Kingdom of Bhutan lies at the northern end of the corridor. The Kingdom of Sikkim formerly lay on the northern side of the corridor, until its merging with India in 1975

You’re absolutely right about the fact that Britishers made these borders difficult to access and make it high security risk. Britishers always did this so that there’s always an infighting between the two parties and they don’t grow bigger than UK. They’ve done this with Israel and Palestine, South Africa and Lesotho, India and Pakistan or Bangladesh. So it’s done on purpose so that borders conflicts always exist and they can be the sole power of the world even by not colonising these countries. Otherwise India, Pakistan and Bangladesh wasn’t needed. Everything could’ve been a part of United India instead of the divided countries we are today. We share the same culture yet we are divided by borders

It is the time when the seeds of a seperate islamic republic started growing. Britishers should be blamed along with them indian collaborators should also be blamed. By the way partition could have been avoided if the 1946 navy mutiny( last war of independence) was not stopped by the congress. British would have been exiting with their lives in hand from india just like they did during american war of indepence. Jay hind.

Nobody helped us after partition we grow together as one of the largest economies in the world and we have to keep maintain it. We should proudly say that we are Indian.🙏

As long as we, Bangladesh is in one side and Nepal is on the other side of this so-called "chickens neck", India should not feel threatened in anyway. The only way India can make it a "Security threat" is through bad foreign policy. I'm glad that you are visiting my country. Countries no longer invade other countries for land, it's an old time strategy. Now economic sanction does enough damge to a country's economy. Instead of calling that corridor as security threat and creating panic among people, we can turn that land into a economic hub for 4 countries. Bangladesh can provide sea access to Nepal, Bhutan and north east India; India and Nepal can provide raw materials for burgeoning Bangladesh economy; Bhutan, Eastern nepal, sikkim, Darjeeling can come up with their tourism industry. That region can turn into a economic epicentre of south asia. A lot will depend on india's foreign policy. It should build ties with people of neighbouring countries, not to any particular govt. or political party and respect soveregnity of neighbours and grow together.

very good idea, maybe that area including some parts in Nepal, india & Bangladesh can be a SEZ with interests from all four nations in that area, and nobody would not like to destroy or attack that area given the amount of money & loss involved for all four nations...like a small Euro like area.

But we will want ready for worse situation Few years ago during kp oli government nepal policy was pro china my dear friend always remember their is no country is bad in this world only government make it bad by it's policy if china do not have this land expansion policy than i think india and china have great relation in growth model but unfortunately not

During the partition, done by the British, there were greedy leaders in all parts of this sub-continent who wanted full power in their hands and by dividing the land they could have that. If these land remained united, then the scenario would have been different today. We could become the super-power in the world.

Underlining the fast-growing bilateral trade relationship, Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami has said that the proposed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries is a "win-win" situation and India is ready for negotiations as early as January 2022. Doraiswami made these remarks during an interview with the Dhaka Tribune.
Bangladesh is India's biggest trade partner in South Asia and India is the second biggest trade partner of Bangladesh, according to the External Affairs Ministry. Bilateral trade between India and Bangladesh has grown steadily over the last decade and the exports of Bangladesh have tripled over the last decade to cross USD 1 billion in 2018-19. With the onset of economic liberalization in South Asia, they forged greater bilateral engagement and trade. The historic Ganges Water Sharing Treaty was concluded in 1996. India and Bangladesh are close strategic partners in counter-terrorism. They are also the largest trading partners in South Asia.

There is no reason to worry, brother. If any kind of independence and sovereignty is lost in the northeastern part of India and India's chicken neck is lost, Bangladesh will open its airspace and land to the Indian army even if Bangladesh needs to fight to maintain India's integrity. The proud army of Bangladesh will never back down to make the highest sacrifice. Because Bangladesh Army knows how to give due respect to friendship, brotherhood and sovereignty of a country. Our troops are no less skilled and courageous than the Indian Army. So rely on the Bangladesh government and army. If a government like the Taliban does not come to Bangladesh then there is no problem. However, I believe that the Bangladesh Army will never succumb to fundamentalism and terrorism.

I want to add that Radcliff line in Bengal was more logical than the Punjabi counterpart. Radcliff in Bengal was drawn thinking about rivers so that same river dont enter India and Pakistan again and again. Security was not much taken into account because Pakistan was not supposed to so evil.
They divided us based on religion but still left some part of Dinajpur in India to keep NE India connected also to keep North and South Bengal joined.

I felt sad when you brought up 1971 issue and said Indira Gandhi could have asked for piece of land. Then I realised, I also feel that sir Radcliff should have given us some hill tracts from beautiful Meghalaya whenever I visit Sylhet. It's just honest feelings.
Now for the negotiation part, I think if Indira Gandhi asked for land then the Liberation War between Bangladesh and Pakistan would have become a Tri-Nation war where Bangladesh would have been fighting India too. If we can fight for our right to speak Bangla, imagine what we could have done for a piece of our motherland. Indira Gandhi knew the negotiation on land was out of the table.

Its important topic . 20 km is not less. It's good enough. But may be Govt can negotiate to increase that to 50 km by some land swap with neighbour with example: sundarbans or some other area. Jai Hind. Thanks for the informative vlog

Why would Bangladesh agree? not their problem. It will be a big strategically significant swap for India. But for Bangladesh only way they agree if swapped land from India is significantly bigger or same strategically important for Bangladesh.
