Specifically speaking, I am a Sylheti. 99.9 % of the Bengalis living in North eastern part of India and 50 % of the Bengalis in West Bengal are of Bangladeshi origin. Whoever come to Bangladesh best places to explore is south side of the country because Rivers and near villages are the best thing you will find. Its super unique from any other places in the world. In beaches , Hills , Chaos in cities more or less similar. But you will hardly find so many different flavor in one places with its rivers , fisherman, boat, green fields, greenery etc. in one single place

If you want to see the mouth of Meghna meeting Bay of Bengal properly, go to "Char Kukri Mukri" from Bhola. It's exactly down south to Bhola. You will see the breadth of Meghna (less than the rainy season though) properly and feel the sea without going to the sea per se! On top of that, "Char Kukri Mukri" is a naturally beautiful island with mangrove forest far away from the Sundarbans.
Now you're on the paradise of Bangladesh, I mean Chattagram (Chittagong).. I suggest you just 3 places- 1. Bandorban 2. Sajek valley 3. Saint Martin island 🏝️

If you want to see the mouth of Meghna meeting Bay of Bengal properly, go to "Char Kukri Mukri" from Bhola. It's exactly down south to Bhola. You will see the breadth of Meghna (less than the rainy season though) properly and feel the sea without going to the sea per se! On top of that, "Char Kukri Mukri" is a naturally beautiful island with mangrove forest far away from the Sundarbans.
