That's so awesome! Eddie Van Halen was the reason I started playing guitar as a 13 year old kid in the 80's. When I first moved to CA and heard Harry playing on Venice Beach Boardwalk, I also noticed his playing style reminded me of Eddie's.
@@thevbb yes it was mind-blowing, I really should have said hello to him but I think I was in awe with everything I was taking in when I visited. Roller skating guitarists, chainsaw jugglers and a guy playing bass with his feet better than most play with their hands! Great days 👍

Harry Perry is so awesome! Ive seen him all over the country pretty much every single Dead show (not OG Dead but ya know) Ive been too he is out in parking lot doing his thing. Such a iconic dude with so much positive vibes...so wonderful! Need more like him...Im actually starting to create a busking show because like if he can why cant I lol?! Thanks for post so cool.

It’s so cool to see how worn down his guitar gets overtime in all the videos I’ve seen of him. All the times I’ve been to Venice he’s been there.
Such a cool guy. A Venice Beach Legend for sure. I have one of his 45s somewhere. I bought it from him in 1994 I think it was.
