Thanks for the video you saved me a lot of money. The dealer quoted me $850 for labor & purchase. I found the mirror on Amazon for $250 and it took me 10min to install it.
This works for the 2017 Tundra. My only gripe is one of those stupid black panel clips broke. Now I have to buy those, but Great tutorial. You need a 10mm Deep Socket, Phillips Screwdriver.
For anyone in the future, you'll need an extended socket. The screw sticks out about an inch from the bolt. Definitely recommend this method over pulling off the entire door panel. Make sure you don't drop the bolts in the panel though!!

Got a 16 Platinum, pretty sure it’s exactly the same as this. What do I need to do to replace just the glass portion. The mirror housing is in good condition, the glass cracked due to possible flying gravel.

It is probably the push pins on the door hinge side would be my guess. You may have to take the panel off to fix it. There are 2 screws you have to remove one is where the door handle is and the other is where you pull to close the door bot hidden by plastic that will pop up.

Roll the window down to hold the mirror when tightening during reassembly.

Did you have any issues with getting the door panel flush to window/glass? Just replaced my mirror and Door panel is sticking out about a 1/4"
