Thanks for the video. I just installed a replacement mirror along with housing on my 2020 Tundra Platinum because it seemed easier that just replacing the mirror itself. However I noticed, after the install, that it didn't have the "<" blind spot indicator in the mirror. Can I just remove the mirror and pick up a a new mirror, remove the existing one and replace with one with the blind spot indictor. My dash board shows a fault with the blind spot monitoring. I an anxious to hear what you have to say. Thank you.

Can you send a link to the mirror you bought . Does it have all the same functions as factory ? Turn, blind spot, heated and folding.

I found mine was taking in air while driving. So I filled cavity with Great Stuff foam. That worked for about five years. I am now replacing it for the third time. 😅

Did you side mirror already com with the chrome trim?

You didn’t show how it was removed. You pointed at the 3 screws that are obvious. What are the other fasteners that are holding it tight after the screws are out.

Any idea on the auto mode, bottom button on the remote? Does it only work with certain vehicles?

My initial thought on the broken tabs on the inside, is how and where (hand placement) the hood is closed. If pressure is put on the hood scoop/bulge when closing, that could be a factor. I baby mine when I close it. Haven't noticed this issue from the video, but haven't looked for it either.

Maybe next time, roll your window down....might be a bit easier. ;-)
