Yeah, the current station building does date to 1998. I have a DVD containing a cab view of the line from a Maryvale Paper Train from said year and it shows the station undergoing an upgrade.
@@ThebusofdoomFSX You’re welcome. The DVD also contains other cool things like the Westall Road and Cranbourne Road Level crossings, Racecourse Road when there were no boom gates at the crossing, and suburban trains beyond Pakenham! If you’re curious, the previous station buildings were identical to what Narre Warren had before it was upgraded to a premium station in 2004.
Maybe go to Sunbury and film services there?
Nice video I remember the last comeng running came to berwick around 3:37 or so, I guess i got lucky with that time and caught it on its final days
Berwick then its Beaconsfield and then Officer, Cardinia Road, Pakenham and East Pakenham.
I guess these days on that line, if a Comeng pulls up in front of you, you'd be feeling you drew the short straw 😀
Bulleen Park and Ride will be opening this Sunday, if you want to check it out :)
The multi storey car park is a genius idea, it should be norm for most train stations with car park spaces (where suitable of course)
