When I was 11 years old. I went on vacation to Yosemite National Park with My Family and the guest speaker at the museum they had there was Julia Parker. I remember that she was a wonderful Person.
California rock art is a fascinating topic. The closest art in the Rocklin / Sacramento / Roseville area is at the Maidu historic park in Roseville (open weekends). Since there is no current way to date the art work, it is hard to create a story. Deciphering the meaning of the art is a secondary problem. I will look for information on the topic. Hopefully I can create a video. Thank you for the suggestion. My current topic is on how rice farming developed in CA.
Our indigenous tribes represent some of the poorest citizens in our nation. If their traditional land had value (lumber, gold, water, minerals) they were force marched to land that had no value to the white settlers or industrialists.
A very beautiful and fascinating history of the first peoples and their artwork in basketry, I really like those game boards

Julia is the most wonderful woman to be around.
Will you do a video on rock faces made by America's first people please.
