Checkout All Good Friend Camera while in Hong Kong. I highly recommend them. I bought two Leica cameras from them (m8, m6). Leica kid in a candy shop. I plan to go back in the future, if that’s even possible...
My father used a screw-mount Leica during WWII, the M3 and M2 and a TL Rolleiflex post-war in the 1950s, and an M2 and an M2-R until his death in 2003. In my film days I used a Leica M6 TTL and the Leica R8, and now I use the Leica T with lens adapters for various lenses. Nothing beats Leica lens quality!
It's stuff like this which reminds why I love Leica cameras, but then it's stuff like custom leopard print shit with random celebrities which makes me question the direction they are going. More content like this please
Shua T We have long departed the ages of turmoil, change, revolution and art and are knee deep in the age of fraud. This is why Leicas seem like a distant memory.
Mr. So probably chose some of his favorite cameras to discuss here, cameras owned by Magnum photographers. It would be interesting to see a not-so-quick overview of the other cameras and equipment in his collection.
So you bought a building in HK to open a museum in order to expose hundreds of gorgeous Leica cameras that you collect while I had trouble buying one M Monochrom 🤣? Fantastic! I'm so impressed! Thanks for sharing!
Especially because the Leica M5, the most innovative and consequent evolution of the Leica rangefinder since the M3 is loved and appreciated by everyone.
I really want to visit Hong Kong, maybe after we get through this! Really want to check out this collection!
We can only hope it will remain HK and not turn into mainland China

Absolutely gorgeous collection and video. 🔴😍
The M Edition 60 Prototype he uses looks amazing!
That was great. It’s on the list of places to visit.
Nice video. Ian Berry is a master, I have a signed copy of the book on the table of this video. A most treasured possession.

3 minutes and 43 seconds? Are you for real? Why go to all this effort for a few minutes. I’d watch an hour of this easily.

I love leica 📷
"M-Leica means innovation". Yeah, really.
Especially because the Leica M5, the most innovative and consequent evolution of the Leica rangefinder since the M3 is loved and appreciated by everyone.
Collecting Leica cameras is easy, and everybody can do it!
All that money for vintage Leicas, none for the dentist though.
